βIt was my husband who discovered this place for our dinner with friends. Great vibes and love the fact it is a community pub. My starter of the Korean cauliflower was absolutely amazing and I could have very happily eaten a larger portion as a main. For my main however, I went for the pesto bread and butter pudding and again this was delicious. My husband and friends enjoyed their meals. I was too full for pudding but as I wasn't driving, I enjoyed the special cocktail, whiskey sour, before we headed home. Good vegetarian options.β
βDonβt listen to the haters. Anyone can cherry pick some tiny negative details. This was an exquisite and generous offering which surprised and delighted. It enabled a group of school friends to reunite. We were given the best seat in the house with views of the river. Nice decor throughout. Service was well informed and pleasant without being intrusive. Recommend the cheese course. Very memorable.β
βHad dinner there, atmosphere so nice and food is superb. Fresh bread was so good. Staff friendly and attentive . Definitely recommendedβ
βLovely cosy coffee shop with friendly staff and a great selection of homemade vegan cakes and seasonal drinks. Feels really homey and comfortable - some folks on laptops, some chatting and others enjoying a quiet moment. Well located for the train station too.β
βWe arrived not long after opening this morning- The welcoming friendly staff, the great coffee, stunning old building ( upstairs) and the breakfast were all absolutely great. Great vegetarian and vegan options for us. Well worth a visit. Weβll be back next time weβre in Shrewsburyβ
βReally good pizza and proper food value. We ordered a very large order a few weeks ago (17 pizzas) and they all arrived hot and prompt and no order errors! Today my husband and I ordered and they missed to bring my drink. When they phoned us to apologize we said it was fine but they insisted they would bring it out to us and they even brought us a complimentary dessert too. Really good service, our new fave takeout I think!β
βWe were served by Hannah C today at Ego Shrewsbury and I have to say she was excellent. So kind, caring and efficient. She catered for everyoneβs needs superbly - from the youngest 4 year old to my 90 year old father. Thank you so much Hannah for making our family Christmas meal so relaxed. Food was yummy, atmosphere great. Thank you Ego. All your staff are a credit to you.β
βA thoroughly enjoyable education. Richard has rekindled my interest in photography. In particular by teaching how to capture in the camera βwhat you seeβ. If you are starting out in DSLR photography, or perhaps have not picked up a camera for sometime, this is a course you will enjoy.β
βStopped in for lunch on Saturday, lovely food, cooked well and excellent prices. I had Roast Turkey and my husband had Fish and Chips, both really tasty. Definitely recommend.β
βWe had the Mac and cheese tonight and it was amazing , still warm as we got it delivered. 100% would go againβ
βWe have ordered their meal for 4 (Β£50) twice in close succession and.have been impressed on both occasions. A plentiful amount of tasty food delivered on time.is just what we needed on both evenings. Thank you again Junoon, leftovers for lunch again, lol.β
βWe had a fabulous trip to Hollywood bowling. It was well priced compared to its comparable competitors and offered additional discount for those bowling prior to 11am which suited us with 3 young children. The staff were attentive and welcoming and helped when the system broke twice (simple fixes and didn't impair the game so we simply carried on). The toilets were clean and adequate. The access was great for a pushchair and therefore good for a wheelchair plus accessible toilet with baby change facilities. There is also a well thought out arcade with lots of variety of games/ experiences. They also offer food and drink which seems nice and well priced (for this kind of place). If we lived locally we'd certainly visit regularly. The vip section looks good We'd definitely consider this for a special occasion.β
βWe arrived just after lunchtime not knowing the Indian menu didnβt commence until 4pm (our fault for not checking). We came back just before 4pm and were seated immediately. The service from the knowledgeable waiters and staff was fantastic and the food was outstanding. Portion size was massive.β
βObviously not a 5* hotel but everything about this hotel was excellent. A large FREE car park with disabled parking bays. A friendly receptionist greeted us. Our bedroom was large with plenty of room for a wheelchair and a wetroom with a shower seat. There was a kettle with tea and coffee to make a brew. Everything was clean and smart. Only a few steps away was a restaurant for an evening meal and breakfast. Also on the small estate was a petrol station, coffee shop and a well stocked small supermarket. Highly recommended if you need to stop over in the area or visiting Shrewsbury.β
βMy dog Suki and I had a wonderful Xmas stay at this hotel. The reception staff were awesome especially Mia and Tom who both went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. We will definitely return to this hotel very soon. Many thanks to you all.β
βThe food and the service were fantastic. We came here twice and can only recommend a visit!β
βShared a birthday celebration here on Saturday, it was all so beautifully prepared the staff on duty were so helpful, professional and looked after us so well. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going there again.β
βStaff are so friendly and very obliging. I requested a thin crust pizza which one of their chefs kindly hand made there and then. Very tasty.β

βKanu Poke Imagine eating in a work of art and tasting wonderful, exciting gastronomic delights! Welcome to Kanu Poke in Shrewsbury. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a smiling George who was one of the co owners. On commenting about the on-trend decor, he explained that the artwork was designed and painted by his partner Katie. We were a tad early but it wasn't a problem. Seated upstairs in a great window seat we really felt like we were on holiday. Surrounded by colorful murals we were hoping that the meals were going to be as good as the decor. We weren't disappointed. A pleasant server greeted us with some tasty bites and took our drinks order, when they arrived they were colourful just like the decor. The nibbles had set the tone for what was about to come. Popcorn Chikanu and Teriyaki Tofu as starters followed by the Crispy Tofu Sunflower Satay and The Mexicana. We also had a refreshing pan seared teriyaki vegetable medley. Wow, the flavours were unbelievably tasty and fresh and the service quick. What's more it's Vegan, Gluten and Nut free. It's the perfect place to eat plant based flavoursome food. What a find. Keep up the good work!β
βA coffee and carrot cake to die for and a great vibe within the coffee shop too. Highly recommended.β
βOn arrival the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. On a Friday and Saturday its a tasting menu. Each course was absolutely delicious. The quantity of everything served was high. A real taste sensation The basil icecream was a beautiful surprise. All areas were spotlessly clean. Service was spot on. Highly recommended restaurant.β
βAmazing food, great service. Go for quiche, mixed salad and some cajun potatoes. Carrot and ginger super smoothie is also worth a go!β
βGreat welcome, fast service, beautifully presented and tasty food. Everything on the menu looked greatβ
βStart from the location just next to train station and in the heart of this beautiful town. The second thing which make this place highlighted is amazing selection of craft beers from IPA to stout & sour. Third is awesome atmosphere which I really like. Good vibes and friendly approachable people in the bar. Specially I like the wall full of colour beer pump clips. Service was good and the prices were very pocket friendly. Hope after all these points I recommend it. Worth to visitβ
βSuper friendly cafe always accommodating and good quality food for low pricesβ
βFirst time we've visited Shrewsbury and we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. I had the leek, gorgonzola and honey pizza which was so delicious I didn't want my meal to end. Staff were lovely and the whole experience was amazing. We'll definitely come back!β
