I order food from this beautiful place regularly for the last one year.. They are very good in their dishes consistently. I recommend Alaturka to any food lovers who want to to try delicious Turkish food in and around Shrewsbury. Regards 14 Oliver Road :)
Had dinner there, atmosphere so nice and food is superb. Fresh bread was so good. Staff friendly and attentive . Definitely recommended
Amazing Turkish restaurant in Shrewsbury. We really liked the interior decoration, the burnt wood panels felt authentic. The service was quick and the server was very attentive! But the main draw here is the food. We got given some delicious homemade Turkish flatbread with dips to begin with. The menu is amazing here, I had the mixed grill and my vegetarian wife was absolutely spoiled for choice - most of the time there's only one or two dishes for her, but she selected from the hot meze. We also got given some homemade baklava for dessert (even though we didn't order anything!) which was again, incredible. And it was so reasonable at the end too. We won't hesitate to come here again, and I'd recommend this place to anyone
Order grilled dishes, vs. Mezze platters or padi. They shine when it come to grilled, the cold meze platter, slazbi padi, prawns, and other dishes were only OK (or less than OK), along with not having flavors. Order the $3.95 spicy cold dish, you can use it to add flavor ot many dishes. At the start, they generously give you free spicy dip and yogurt along with bread - all three were good. The chicken wings were excellent. As the restaurant is new, not all the dishes on the menu are available, we had to substitute two. Service is good.
A great restaurant with all you need in terms of friendliness, decor and cleanliness, Great food and efficient service. It's a shame that we live over 200 miles away otherwise we would be eating here at least twice a week. Well done to the management and staff. We will be back.
Most enjoyable meal tonight. Food was delicious and good value and service excellent. Baklava at the end of the meal was the best we’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. All in all, a superb experience.
The restaurant is new to town so we tried it out tonight. Well, all I can say is fantastic ! Excellent food and brilliant service we shall definitely return! The experience felt authentic and welcoming and I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes or wants to try Turkish food.
