“We popped in Thursday 18th of September 2025 , for something to eat with my wife and daughter, because we haven't been to Shrewsbury for years, my daughter had a 4 day break in the city. It's a quaint little cafe , service with a smile and friendly. Reasonable prices good atmosphere it was about 3 o'clock ish and still busy , but got seating okay. Food was lovely and it was prompt . So all in all well worth a recommendation to come again when we next return from Liverpool. Thanks again all staff and cooks from the Taylor trio liverpool.”

“I visit Café on the Cop weekly to buy breakfast sandwiches for my office team. And I recently ordered some cupcakes from them for a corporate event. I ordered 24 vanilla cupcakes filled with jam, with a colourful rainbow theme. Safe to say we weren't disappointed, the cupcakes were delish and went down very well with everyone. Wish we'd ordered more! Thank you to the lovely ladies at Café on the Cop, I will definitely order cakes from you again for our next event.”

“What a delightful experience in this old building, beautiful americano coffee and bacon bagel. Extremely efficient and lovely staff. Very small quaint on the slant building. Ambiance was cosy and welcoming.”

“We had a fabulous trip to Hollywood bowling. It was well priced compared to its comparable competitors and offered additional discount for those bowling prior to 11am which suited us with 3 young children. The staff were attentive and welcoming and helped when the system broke twice (simple fixes and didn't impair the game so we simply carried on). The toilets were clean and adequate. The access was great for a pushchair and therefore good for a wheelchair plus accessible toilet with baby change facilities. There is also a well thought out arcade with lots of variety of games/ experiences. They also offer food and drink which seems nice and well priced (for this kind of place). If we lived locally we'd certainly visit regularly. The vip section looks good We'd definitely consider this for a special occasion.”

“When I asked a local where the trendiest coffee shop in town was he pointed in the direction of English Bridge. Here you will find the bright and artistic coffee specialists The Condor. Like the condor it is graceful and big, on flavour. Ride the air currents, swoop in and grab a coffee.”

“I've been here a few times now and I can safely say I'll be calling in many more times whilst I'm working in Shrewsbury. The food is spot on and the strawberry milkshakes are the best I've ever had. They have homemade cakes as well but I am yet to sample them. Perhaps on my next visit.... If you're on Castle Street and fancy a bite, I highly recommend you call in.”

“If you're coeliac and want something more than a baked potato then I highly recommend this cafe, even if you're not they have such fantastic and flavoursome options that you're going to be satisfied. I had a meal a cappuccino and a cake and have to say I really enjoyed my experience. The staff were really nice and very helpful Parking in Shrewsbury is not an issue and it's a short walk away. “Good to see Wem Town Hall working well in these times. From here the meals on wheels service is being run in this crisis. Well organized use of volunteers. Flexible responsive and caring. Delivering quality food from local caterers including their own in house cafe team. I expect MBE's for these selfless people Mr Johnson, in due course. I am sure our "servant for the whole of her life" gracious Queen will be delighted to bestow such recognition.”

“My little one loves going here. They have a wonderful mix of farm animals, which you can feed (the animal food to cheap here compared to other places). They also offer lamb milk feeding which is so cute. They have a barn with cars and bits in, a lovely park and a woods to walk through which help to provide variety and extend you visit. The food and drink is good quality (they have a variety of home baked goods) and for low prices.”

“Very atmospheric place, very traditional old Shrewsbury, loved the gorgeous leaded windows, the old stone work etc. We were well looked after by Ash who went 'above and beyond', (thank you), lovely chap. He looked after 12 of us extremely well.... I was a bit surprised it was just Ash' on his own. Nothing was too much troubke. Management need to pay him more. I thought the background music was lovely, plus lovely NOT to get the cheesy Christmas music. PS Excellent liaison pre-event with Tamara by email. THANK YOU. (There were12 of us in the party).”
