   We popped in Thursday 18th of September 2025 , for something to eat with my wife and daughter, because we haven't been to Shrewsbury for years, my daughter had a 4 day break in the city. It's a quaint little cafe , service with a smile and friendly. Reasonable prices good atmosphere it was about 3 o'clock ish and still busy , but got seating okay. Food was lovely and it was prompt . So all in all well worth a recommendation to come again when we next return from Liverpool. Thanks again all staff and cooks from the Taylor trio liverpool.

   We decided to try a different café from our usual favourites, and chose the Loft (not least because its menu was easy to understand, with no pretentious descriptions of the food on offer). We ordered the chilli con carne baked potato, and a ham & cheese toastie, both of which were nicely presented and plentiful (reasonably priced too). The staff were friendly and attentive, and the tables and cutlery were clean. 5 stars in every respect.

   Popped in on my way past to grab a coffee and was not disappointed! Coffee is excellent, owner was lovely, and the place was clean with a good atmosphere. Cakes look fantastic, and from what I could see of other customers' food the food looks epic. Will definitely be popping in again (and for food) next time I'm in Shrewsbury!

   This has somehow become a favourite place of mine for brunch. A huge improvement on the cafe that was there before. Lovely owner/manager. I'd love to see more vegan cakes but the ones I've tried have been absolutely fantastic and hard to find elsewhere in Shrewsbury (like vegan Victoria Sponge).

   Lovely little cafe in Shrewsbury. The coffee is always delicious and the cakes are fantastic. A lot of choice and variety with biscuit based snacks available too. I'm very partial to the brie and Cranberry bagel which the staff happily edit to my tastes on a ciabatta. As a local independent barista myself I highly recommend this coffee shop. Staff are also very friendly.
