   Love it here staff are attentive and atmosphere is welcoming. We had the 3 course Christmas Fayre today, our table was set out beautiful. To start we had soup this was beautiful, next we had the Turkey with all the trimmings, there was plenty and delicious too. Deserts we had a cherry eten mess and a cheese cake both delicious too. We also had a bottle of wine, we think it was all such good value and would highly recommend to eat here anytime of the year.

   Where do we start? Thank you, thankyou Zoe and the team for hosting our daughters wedding 27.6.25. Nothing was too much trouble.. everyone was so friendly, the pub was decorated to perfection in a relaxed country floral theme. The flowers decorating the venue were stunning. The food was plentiful, utterly delicious and presented beautifully. There were so many little personal touches that completed the day .The dj kept everyone on the dance floor and again nothing was too much trouble. The Windmill is a real gem..thankyou xx

   Staff are Amazing I take a lady who i care for each week for lunch. She as dementia and i do find its hard to find a place that we can go out for lunch and feel 100% confortable due to her dementia. But from day 1 of going there the staff have been lovely they know her needs and always accomadate suitable seating areas. Food is Amazing and goes down a treat she loves a white wine to help food go down. We visited yesterday and were treated to a Free meal and drinks for giving feedback to one staff member. If youv not been to the Windnill then please try it out. If your a carer for someone with special needs then dont be afraid to go there for lunch meal out i would highly recommend it. Staff and food and atmosphere are 100%

   We visited this pub as a group of six while staying in the area over the weekend, hoping for a warm and friendly local experience. Unfortunately, we were made to feel very unwelcome from the start. The staff’s attitude was cold and dismissive, and as a group of non-white visitors, we couldn’t help but feel there was an element of discrimination in the way we were treated compared to others. On top of that, the food was very poor. We ordered burgers, and the meat tasted like it had come straight from the freezer — bland, low quality, and definitely not what you’d expect when eating out. Overall, the lack of hospitality combined with substandard food made this a really disappointing experience. We wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere or a decent meal.

   8 months passed since my initial review and requires and update. Menu has taken a nose dive, quite limited and portion sizes reduced. Family and friends had a range of dishes and were disappointed. Not in a rush to eat here again

   Visited a few week ago with friends. lovely atmosphere very friendly staff and the food was excellent. Prices good considering most put there prices up We did not experience this at the windmill. If you want a good night out we recommend this venue to all.
