Hipster vibe with interesting take on classic breakfast and brunch dishes. The food is always beautifully cooked and well-presented. Today's smashed avo on toast came as a thin spread with fork-made grooves to give the chilli oil places to infuse. Good coffee too. Not many seats so sometimes there is a bit of a wait...but it's worth it.
Nice coffee… cake was lovely ! Good value for money. We had the bloody cake, it was delicious.
If you're coeliac and want something more than a baked potato then I highly recommend this cafe, even if you're not they have such fantastic and flavoursome options that you're going to be satisfied. I had a meal a cappuccino and a cake and have to say I really enjoyed my experience. The staff were really nice and very helpful Parking in Shrewsbury is not an issue and it's a short walk away. I will return for more
Nice little cafe with plenty of healthy and tasty food options. I went with the hot bowl on the specials board and it was the chickpea curry. It had a lovely warm spice to it with chunks of cauliflower and sweet potato. If it’s on the specials board I would recommend it! There’s also a selection of cakes on the counter. The lemon and blueberry blondie was deliciously tart with a soft sponge. It was very reasonably priced as well.
Wonderful choice for brunch right in the middle of Shrewsbury, all more healthier than the usual fayre I'd see. I went with a breakfast bowl - the portion was more than I could eat, my friend finished hers, but it was so good! I need to try it at home something (or something close at least). The staff were all very friendly, the atmosphere lovely, and it all ran very efficiently - there weren't long waits, and a constant churn of people going in and out. Will definitely be going back.
A cozy little cafe that we really enjoyed. You might have to wait a bit for a table on a Saturday around 12:30 though. We didn't mind and waited maybe 10-15 mins but then the rush hour died down a bit and we saw some people get in and get a table straightaway so you might be lucky! The staff were also really polite. A good selection of cakes and drinks. Personally found my gooey chocolate brownie too sweet but the hot chocolate was lovely. My partner's carrot cake though was great! Wouldn't mind coming in again if we're in Shrewsbury another time and trying some other items off the menu!
Great coffee, I had a very good macchiato. The food was delicious too, avo on toast with halloumi and eggs. Staff were very friendly too.
Went in to Ginger & Co. For a light Brunch/Lunch and was not disappointed by the quality of our drinks or the quality of our food, I wish I could of just sat there eating one cake after another (Lemon drizzle was my favourite and it was delectable) The berry ice tea and beetroot latte were really nice (I’m not a major fan of different things but I highly recommend these)
Fantastic coffee, delicious pancakes, and really friendly staff. They were excellent about allergies too! Very popular (with good reason) so you might need to pop back if no tables are free. Would definitely recommend!
