Lovely atmosphere for a catch up with my friend, very well priced food. I had my two dogs with me and when the waitress realised she immediately offered to get them some water. Food arrived quickly and was tasty, when the owner noticed the dogs I said I’d share my bacon sandwich with them. He said there was no need and brought over a sausage for them. Lovely little touch and two very happy dogs!

Disappointed. We visit Shrewsbury several times a year and always choose Listers for a lunch snack. This time, having passed some really mouthwatering food at the numerous cafes in the town and market hall, we only just got in at Listers. It was only 13:20 and already they had sold out of soup which was really the only thing I wanted. Nevertheless, I ordered a jacket potato and beans and my wife a beef sandwich. They took over half an hour to arrive so I expected the potato to have a nice crispy skin but no. Microwaved to mediocrity. Not much in the way of beans so quite dry. Very mediocre. My wife's sandwich had very little filling and the bread was very average, if that. Having already passed some wonderful looking examples elsewhere in the town we felt really disappointed with the lacklustre offerings at Listers. Given the choice now I think next time it would be hard to justify returning.

Atmosphere great, lovely little quirky cafe. It's cash only which isn't displayed and you're not told about this until you try to pay. We are local so happy to pop up to Lloyd's to get the missing cash as we didn't quite have enough. Toast was burnt and the avocado was out of a pot not fresh which was disappointing.

We stayed in the AirBnb next door and decided to have breakfast here. The village coffee house did not disappoint! Service and food were fantastic and can highly recommend!

Been several times, and up till now not been disappointed, till now. We arrived at 11 o'clock and found there was only 1 empty table, which had a sign on it that it was reserved from 12.30. Although we said that we only wanted coffee on this occasion, we were not allowed to sit there. Very disappointing and annoying. Plenty of coffee shops around, but they obviously feel they don't need business.

Just delightful..comfortable setting indoors, small cafe, good seating arrangements, decorated lit xmas tree, setting the mood. food tasty, our breakfast preferences accommodated, bacon a little tough, and payment cash only without warning was only gripe. Highly recommend.
