“We recently hosted a private function at Divine Restaurant in Shirley, Solihull on Saturday 30th May 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re a team from EH Smith, and we had exclusive use of the restaurant for the evening – and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The team at Divine went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was lovely, and the restaurant felt welcoming and vibrant, perfectly suited for our group event. The food? Outstanding. Every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and authentically Indian. From the starters to the desserts, everything was top-notch – our whole team was raving about it! “I recently visited ME YOU / Desserts & Burgers and was blown away by the quality of the food and drinks. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, the karak chai was perfectly spiced and soothing, the Oreo milkshake was creamy and indulgent, and the pistachio milk cake was incredibly moist and delicious. Each item was crafted with care, and the combination of flavors made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great food and desserts!”

“It was my sister birthday and we decided to spend our dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The sushi was delicious, and well-price. The salmon sashimi was so fresh and came with thick slices. They also offered cooked sets for my sister since she is not comfortable with raw fish. I love my Koko Special Lychee too. The staffs were friendly and they even sang happy birthday to my sister.”

“Beautiful Eritrean restaurant with a wide menu. We had a vegetarian sample platter (bebaynetu) as well as a lamb stew (alicha). We also tried mes, Eritrean honey mead, which wasn’t on the menu but we asked for, and it was delicious.”

“First time here for my birthday meal, the food was delicious with great presentation, we also loved the fact it was a small menu. We had the trio of chicken starter, the chicken was so flavourful and tender, as was the lamb in the curries. The staff were lovely and very attentive, I also received a lovely dessert as it was my birthday. Will definitely be visiting again.”

“I bought my mum here for her birthday, along with my sister and husband. We absolutely loved everything about the food. It was beautiful and SO flavourful. We had the 7 course tasting menu (and there was also 3 amuse bouche, a bread and 3 petit fours) and we were left full but not uncomfortably so, and definitely not hungry. The staff are very knowledgeable about the processes that go into the food and drink. They gave my mum a wee birthday card which was lovely. My husband and I recently ate at Gauthier Soho and we enjoyed the food at the atmosphere at Land much more. Highly recommend to vegans and omnis alike!”

“Genuinely the best meal I have ever eaten. Every bite was delicious and extremely well thought out. The wine paring was spot on too. The service was lovely and personal. We were in a 2 Michelin star restaurant last week and this place tops its. Come on Michelin Man pull your finger out and get at least one star hanging up in here.”

“I rate this curry house very highly. I’ve been here 5 times now and each time the food and service has been outstanding. The food is cooked fresh to order and is of a high standard. I like the way the chef (Bash) comes out a chat to customers and nothing is too much trouble. Tonight was my partners birthday and they bought out cake for everyone on our table and sung Happy Birthday to him. Very impressed with the food and service and we look forward to our next visit.”

“A unique restaurant with excellent service and outstanding food. We each has a three course meal for set price of £35. I had the baked camembert, then duck followed by raspberry cheesecake. Every course was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. The waiting staff were very attentive. We definitely will be back. Highly recommend.”

“We had the prawn bao, salmon kimbap, seafood okonomiyaki, and crab inari with two drinks. Very yummy, authentic food that didn’t disappoint! It came out to £52, including tip. We walked in with no reservations at 7 pm on Saturday and were seated instantly because there were only two other couples. Not halal, but there are vegetarian, gluten-free, and seafood options.”

“Found this by chance when walked near the Victoria Town Hall. I saw good review on Google map and never regret with my decision to give a try and the influence of the good reviews. The lamb is super yummy, when I start eating I was doubting was I ordering a beef steak but it wasn’t, is lamb. I’m very impressed with the texture and the taste of the gravy. Excellent! The appetisers and snacks are all yummy and served in style. This is a place where you see the restaurant manager guiding the trainee students and they execute their role up to standard. I’m not sure who is the lady that guiding the trainees but I just very certain she is a great person to take care of the restaurant and the trainees. She oversees the overall services and the training. Impressive! And Appreciate!”

“I been to the one in tyseley and enjoyed the food their, then they moved their branch to ladypool road. I had the lambo which was chicken steak my meal cost £17.90 as I got the large size and a mocktail. as a nice gesture they give you a dipping tray and nachos to try out the unique sauces to pick for your dishes, I picked the Naga mustard flavour for my steak. The food was really nice, only issue I had was the place was kind of stuffy during the hot days and surprisingly the place seems quiet compared to how it use to be in tyseley so highly recommended to try. The lighting is kind of dark so not sure if that puts people off when walking past. And the large portion doesn't seem large.”

Wonderfully enjoyed beyond words, needs to be eaten to believe. Each course served with a perfectly matched wine from the truly knowledgeable Sommelier with a knowledge base far reaching every question asked! The kitchen staff themselves being an amazing team working together in a fluid atmosphere with the real life day to day, and the amazing teamwork to create the most amazing food all under the eye of Chef Adam. “Faultless. Visited for my wife's 40th birthday, and was welcomed with a "Happy Birthday", a card from the team and left with a small box of chocolates, really helping to make it feel special. The food was amazing and as it was a Thursday lunchtime it was quiet, so felt like we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend, and my thanks to the team.”
