“I can’t believe I have almost lived in Kiddy for two years & yet hadn’t tried this place until today! I’m so glad I did! We had a korma, butter chicken, garlic naan & rice. Everything was delicious! We didn’t have to wait too long & it arrived hot! I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite - and personally I found the portion sizes perfect, especially for such brilliant prices! We also got a Negroni & White Russian. The food menu is impressive but the cocktail menu is crazy! The interior design is also very groovy, I’m a big fan. I’m already planning my next visit! P.S they do delivery too!”

“Myself and my boyfriend booked a double room. My daughter and her boyfriend have 4 children, 2 of the children have adhd, but the rooms only accommodate 2 children, so my daughter booked one room with 2 of the children and a second room for her boyfriend and 2 of the children. When we saw the rooms, they would have been fine with one room. Anyway, the rooms were lovely (I'm not complaining) We went down for breakfast the second morning we were there, the lady on that took our names, myself and my boyfriend hadnt booked, and the restaurant was very busy, but Jade allowed us to have a table, she was very nice, polite and kind to us. and my grandson was a bit overwhelmed, he kept moving tables and I said to my daughter that Oliver couldn't help.it, my daughter said " but it's not an excuse, a member of staff, Tia, came over and asked if it was okay for Oliver to have felts, I said it was, and Tia went to fetch some paper and felts, she asked Oliver to draw a dinosaur, he did this in between eating his meal. It kept him occupied. Tea was so ki d towards Oliver and he looked for her after breakfast to give her the drawing. She was so pleased. The staff were really good with the children, In fact, they were brilliant!! We will definitely be going to the Kidderminster Premier Inn again. I highly recommend it.”

If ordering online try doing it through their website at empire Garden.co.uk it's much cheaper especially when compared to just eat or deliveroo. If your looking for something small to eat I would suggest the special tray meals They are great”

“We absolutely love this place – it’s become our go-to favourite spot in town. The food is consistently outstanding. Part of our family is vegetarian, and it’s brilliant to have a proper veggie option on the menu. The Vivera plant-based marinated tenders with fries and dipping sauce are delicious – full of flavour and really satisfying. The rest of the family usually go for the chicken tenders with fries, Texas toast and dipping sauce, and they’re always a hit as well. Everything is cooked beautifully, the portions are generous, and the quality never disappoints. Highly recommended!”

“What can i say about our wedding here on 29th July 2022..wow ..amazing. magical..best day of our lives..we booked 2 years ago and due to covid it was pushed back..during this time the hotel had new management and we had seen a couple of negative comments so called and asked for a meeting..all our worries were talked through and we were put at ease..then we booked an appt to meet the new wedding planner pippa 2 weeks before the wedding and knew instantly that she was totally on the ball..she did not let us down her communication was fantastic and she did everything possible to make our day so special..we had no hiccups and everything ran like clockwork. The only slight niggle would be the queue for the bar but we did have a large wedding so maybe at the next large wedding another bar team member would help..but all in all our day was perfect and we wouldn't change a single minute of it. The team worked so hard and made our day special. Thank you to all the staff”

“Ordered a few times in the past and wasn’t happy with the food, since it’s been taken over by the new owner it has completely changed. Food is delivered fast, fresh and is always hot. Partner is usually picky with chicken but we both agreed it is even better than KFC. Best chicken shop in Kidderminster. 100% would return.”

“Literally the best Kebab I've ever had. Fries are super good too. I've tried kebabs and Döners all over the world (Germany, Greece, Hungary,Croatia), and I think this is the best I've ever had. I can only recommend.”

“Recently found this gem. I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until I went on my nieces Facebook as I don’t have FB. The malteser cheesecake and shortbread are amazing. I’ve been looking for cafes with homemade cakes and these truly are homemade, which is such a rarity! The staff also make the latte to preference such as decaf/ oat milk etc the indoor area is clean with tasteful decor. The outside seating is really lovely as it’s based in a pretty and peaceful location. There is a free car park that can be used. Owner is lovely and friendly. We felt very welcome. I was a bit worried as I’ve been to other places which are a bit hostile towards Muslims/ Asians but there was no need to be worried here. I haven’t tried the food yet but when I do I will edit my review . I’d love to see more cheesecake flavours as Gil is a great baker . I am a baker too and I have very high standards so that’s saying something . Im definitely not easily pleased when it comes to cakes. Overall really lovely cafe . I went to another cafe before I discovered Gils for homemade cakes and that was such a major disappointment in quality and taste and did not compare to Gils. Prices are really good for the cake considering it’s homemade and generous portions . Only wish I could visit more often but due to health problems I can’t but when I do it’s a lovely experience. “Had to support a friend at the Crown court today, the day was helped by a surprise just next door… AJs Dinner. The Bacon and mushroom sandwich the Ladies served, was one of the best I have ever eaten, this coming from a chef of 40 years. Bacon perfectly cooked and so many delicious fresh button mushrooms. Well done ladies, keep up the good work! If you are Kidiminster definitely worth visiting”

“Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. However the breakfast service was slow and we only just had time to eat our breakfast as we had to catch a train. The staff were apologetic but we had to rush our food and this meant we didn't enjoy the experience. Next time we will have cereal.”

“Amazing food! We went on a Monday and had the 3 course (poppadoms, starter and main with side) for £13.50 which is great value. The restaurant was very quiet but so clean and looks like it has been redecorated recently! The only advice I'd give is for a bit of music and for the waiter to have a bit more confidence. He was lovely, but let your personality shine! Please visit this gem, such great food.”
