“Served in the fragrance counter by the amazing Grace !!! 100% needs a raise. Went in with three points; unisex, vanilla, not too sweet. Grace showed us the scent at the counter she was manning but when she saw that we weren't fully satisfied, walked us to another counter and sprayed the scent that literally was exactly what we wanted. Saved us 40 minutes and ensured it wasnt a wasted journey. A scent we wouldn't have even noticed otherwise and she knew exactly what we needed. Honestly would've tipped if I could!! Thank you so much Grace.”

“I've been shopping here for years and always have a great shopping experience... I was in last Thursday This is an exceptional store, very friendly staff, always willing to offer assistance when asked politely and spoken to like a person not a servant.. These members of staff are doing an incredible job and deserve a little courtesy and respect !! On occasion I've witnessed some customers being demanding and discourteous... Believe me, I'd have thrown them out permanently if it was my shop. I have never witnessed any of the staff here being anything but polite to all the customers... even the rude ones !! In a nut shell... if a customer has a poor experience at this store... then maybe it's not quite as simple as it seems. On a big plus this store is impeccably clean and a real credit to the Iceland brand... I was helped by Debbie and Claire who were happy to get more products from the back for me as they were in the middle of restocking. Thanks ladies... Great job as always.”

“Amazing Romanian shop, truly the taste of home, including fresh cakes made in their own laboratory! What you won't find however is the typical grumpiness of Romanian shopkeepers, because these ladies are lovely, kind and always have a smile on their faces even in the busiest of times. Please please please give them a raise and a nice Christmas bonus!”

“Great Service Notwithstanding! Samis at Birmingham has been one of my go to places for shopping especially African foodstuff. I am thoroughly impressed with the signs and arrangements put in place for health and safety of customers also. Just a few suggestions for to continue to provide that excellent customer service: - the barbecue shed or Suya spot may need more hands for the teaming number of customers. - a mechanism can be introduced, either a manual numbering system for orders or machine operated numbering system so that orders can be dealt with quicker. Well done Ms Onyinye( although I'm not sure I got the name right) a member of the management team for your customer service. Keep up the good work.”

“We've just moved nearby and what a great little shop! Has a great variety of food, items, lovely fresh bread, household goods and drinks. I was super impressed and very relieved that we can come here rather than the rather grim little supermarket just up the road! The Co-op was clean, tidy, well stocked and has an amazon locker too. “I don't usually review stores like Argos because they're pretty generic HOWEVER... I had an eBay order to collect, I forgot I ordered and didn't see the notification for delivery, I remembered last night and popped along to collect this morning. The holding time expired at 0100 this morning, Gail the lady serving me found my package, was holding it but unable to let me have because it wasn't on the system. Gail the absolute legend that she is managed to relist it in the system so she could release it to us. 100% top score for customer service”

“Big thanks to Karen for her help!! I bought a mobile from Argos at the end of Feb 2024. It had an intermittent fault with call quality that I thought would be fixed by a software upgrade. It wasn't, so I got my carrier to check the line and for the phone manufacturer to give me any suggestions for fixing the problem. The line was fine and the manufacturer's "fixes" didn't work. I decided to go to my local Argos store, in July, to see how they could remedy it. I spoke to Karen who understood the problem and suggested that I brought the phone into the shop with all accessories and delivery note. I also spoke to Hassan who made some sensible suggestions as to what I could try to get it working. I took the phone in and Karen checked if the phone was repairable. It wasn't. She offered me an exchange or refund. I've bought many items from Argos over the years but have never returned anything. I'd expected some difficulty because it was 5 months since I'd originally bought the phone. Karen made the process easy and treated me kindly and professionally. I'm very grateful and remain a happy Argos customer.”

The Colmore Row Co-op supports different charities in Birmingham, and the staff are always keen to make a positive difference to those around them. Staff are also very professional and go above and beyond in helping customers in store. Located in the Colmore Business District in Birmingham, it's a great place to grab a meal deal on the go.”
