“Adrian was our server. It was insane service. He was great!!!. New food items now available on the bottomless brunch. We had curry. It was our best experience yet and perhaps our 5th visit.”

“We came here with a big group of family - meeting from different parts of the country - in the gap between Christmas and New Year and had a lovely welcome. They had no trouble accommodating our big group and brought a selection of delicious dishes, tej (honey wine) and beautiful traditional Ethiopian coffee and spiced tea. They really made our occasion special.”

“Not one to leave a review. Visited here for a wedding yesterday. ALL staff are incredibly helpful, despite being rushed off their feet & ALL provide an impeccable service. Great example, the queue at the bar “WHAT QUEUE” I have to mention the main lady in glasses assisting with the wedding FANTASTIC character & the youngest girl assisting her FABULOUS too. Start to finish the team made a great effort to ensure everything was run super smooth. They helped make this wedding a SUPERB event. Really surprised to enter into the actual social club from the wedding area. To find it packed to the brim with regulars. This place deserves its loyal attendees. Well organised in general, there’s a pleasant & processional guy sat in the foyer. He also deserves a pat on the back. The most organised “social club” I have entered to date. I have high standards & am seldom impressed. Social clubs are most definitely “not my thing” so to speak. Hey this place deserves a mention!!! Thanks everyone, regards “the real vegetarian””

“Dropped in on the 28th of October. I was served by Matthew. Very friendly approach and clearly knew the menu. I ordered a cider and butter chicken (the butter chicken was well cooked and tasted amazing) I was made to feel welcome. Couldn't recommend this place enough. All the best, Chris.”

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a tranquil and calming ambience and the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The food was some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. The time taken into knowing a balance of spice never goes unnoticed. Altogether a fantastic experience at a reasonable price, well worth a visit.”

“Great social club with regular events for members. The snooker room has 6 high quality tables and there are several teams playing in the leagues. A lovely lounge bar which is also available for private hire.”

“Heard a few people recommend this place, so I gave it a try yesterday. Friendly and welcoming staff, restaurant nicely decorated and big screen TVs all around so great for having a meal and beers while watching the sports. Quick turnaround from placing the order to food being served on the table. Large mixed grill would happily do three people.”

“Visited Springfield Social Club for the very 1st time which happened to be a Ska evening. Without a doubt has to be the best social club I’ve been to. Great people and great atmosphere.”

“This is a private club so it keeps all the riff raff out. They have a bowling green, bar games (involved in leagues; dominoes, cribbage etc), entertainment every weekend, bingo on Monday, Friday and Saturday, a function room for hire and the beer is looked after with a wide choice. Only downside is the private car park gets used (without permission) by the church next door. Thought they would know better. I recently joined their bowling team and even my wife has asked to frequent here on non-match days as the venue, staff and customers are awesome.”

I was made to feel very welcome by everyone and the instructor is great at meeting everyone’s needs. My balance has improved significantly, my body is becoming toned but most of all it’s great for your mental health. ** TOTALLY RECOMMEND **”
