“Good social space for the village nicely linked to the Cement works heritage. Excellent talk at the club last night about the history of the works. Need to be a member for a very modest fee if you are a regular.”

“I went to Trentfest not long ago, it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was really warm and friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The whole place is lovely and clean. I 100% recommend the Trent Valley for all kinds of entertainment, they have loads of different bands/singers etc on.”

“A small, friendly club which serves well kept real ales, lager, cider, wines and spirits. There is an upstairs function room which holds 60 people and is available to non-members. There are active skittles and dart teams and regular quiz nights. A great little club and also Camra Club of the Year 2015!”

“This is a very good venue for performances of music and voice. The acoustics of the main hall hardly need reinforcement by amplification other than for an MC. There are plenty of rooms for rehearsal or preparation, and for the audience there are good facilities including two bars. There is enough room to enable different configurations of seating and performance layout. There is adequate parking space available for performers and audience. The building appears huge, well appointed and maintained, welcoming to all visitors.”

“We attend weekly when we can & always have an amazing time, particularly impressed with security keeping an eye open making it a safe place .. ie no dancing with glasses in hand etc Toilets always clean. Bands booked are always a great variety & bar prices very reasonable! Staff always been very courteous & friendly”

“What a place. Proper old school social club. Busy on a sunday evening which is great to see. I live around the corner and will pop in here when I can. Entertainment on a sunday too. Beer is cheap and a good pint of Guinness. The staff are very friendly. Really friendly atmosphere.”
