We came here with a big group of family - meeting from different parts of the country - in the gap between Christmas and New Year and had a lovely welcome. They had no trouble accommodating our big group and brought a selection of delicious dishes, tej (honey wine) and beautiful traditional Ethiopian coffee and spiced tea. They really made our occasion special.

First time trying Ethiopian food and it was amazing! The staff were super friendly and the service was fast. Every dish was so flavorful and delicious . I also got to experience the coffee ceremony, and even though I’m not a big coffee person, I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every bit. Definitely coming back soon!

First time trying Ethiopian food . The ambience was awsome , felt that uniqueness within the restaurant. Service by the staffs were also very good. Regarding the culinary experience, Injera( the spongy bread) was definitely an acquired taste , bit too sour/tangy for my palate. All the side dishes were okay , some where good ,some not that great especially the middle gravy chicken . Appreciate the authentic recipes. If you are a fan of Ethiopian food ,you would enjoy the experience .

Lovely food and very warm service. Felt like I was stepping out of Birmingham straight into Ethiopian culture. Really interesting to learn about Ethiopian food and we all (including our 12 and 13 year old children) thoroughly enjoyed the food. The coffee which was roasted on site was amazing !

It wasn't my first time trying Ethiopian food but it was for the rest of my family and we all loved the food in this restaurant, plus the ambiance was nice and the Friendly service really made the experience that much more enjoyable.

What an amazing meal. The sharing platter for 2 was absolutely delicious - so much variety and flavour. We can’t wait to come back for more. Incredible beers also - we loved the Asmara and the St George. We also came across the Tej which was absolutely fantastic - a Ethiopian mead, insane! We will definitely be back!

Great customer service and lovely ambience, the food is 10/10 in terms of presentation, value and taste, and if you like a drink I recommend trying their 'Tej' Ethiopian wine. Absolutely divine.

I'm sorry but I forgot the name of the dish we had, it was number 49 on the menu. Every 'curry' was different and I enjoyed every bite. I can't wait to come back and try the vegetarian version. Recommended!
