From the moment you start they make you feel comfortable and welcome, sharing their expert knowledge about sushi, the ingredients and the history of everything you're doing. At the end of the course, all the sushi you have created you take away to enjoy in the evening. You are also provided with a follow-up document, describing all the techniques, ingredients and equipment used throughout the day, including locations in the Midlands to find everything! I whole hearty recommend this class as an experience, you won't be disappointed!”

“Came across this hidden gem quite unexpectedly whilst house hunting in Bearwood accompanied with my aunt and brother. Not strictly speaking a restaurant but more a cafe/eatery. Weather was nice so we sat out front and it felt like al fresco dining in your favourite uncle's garden. Our lunches were yummy and freshly prepared. The service and meals were homely. Would definitely recommend and return.”

“Found this by chance when walked near the Victoria Town Hall. I saw good review on Google map and never regret with my decision to give a try and the influence of the good reviews. The lamb is super yummy, when I start eating I was doubting was I ordering a beef steak but it wasn’t, is lamb. I’m very impressed with the texture and the taste of the gravy. Excellent! The appetisers and snacks are all yummy and served in style. This is a place where you see the restaurant manager guiding the trainee students and they execute their role up to standard. I’m not sure who is the lady that guiding the trainees but I just very certain she is a great person to take care of the restaurant and the trainees. She oversees the overall services and the training. Impressive! And Appreciate!”

“This is by far the best Mexican I've ever had in the UK. Everything, down to the decorations is authentic. The food is out of this world, the right amount of spice and all the flavour. My partner is mexican and felt so at home here. I had the tacos, nachos and chocolate cake and would definitely be back for more. The staff are so friendly and sweet, not overbearing just normal. The decor feels like a real mexican restaurant. I wish I could give more stars. The owners even gave us some of their homemade ribs that were to die for. “We came here with a big group of family - meeting from different parts of the country - in the gap between Christmas and New Year and had a lovely welcome. They had no trouble accommodating our big group and brought a selection of delicious dishes, tej (honey wine) and beautiful traditional Ethiopian coffee and spiced tea. “Absolutely Outstanding! I recently visited Tokyo Izakaya and was blown away by the whole experience. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and authentically Japanese. You feel like you’ve stepped straight into a Tokyo backstreet eatery. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented; every bite melted in the mouth. I've tried Chicken Kastu Curry, Chicken Kastu, Akita Mango and Salmon Maki, and Volcano Dragon Maki. It was full of flavour and grilled to perfection. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations from both the food and sake menu. The Robata grill dishes were a standout, and the tonkotsu ramen was rich, comforting, and packed with umami. A big thank you to Jessica, Mukesh, and the entire team for the delicious food and warm hospitality. If you’re looking for genuine Japanese dining in Birmingham, this is easily one of the best. I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!”
