“I went for the Bacon & Scrambled Egg Wrap & an Iced Latte. considering the cheap price the food was excellent, lovely interior and staff are friendly and dropped it to me as I work a few doors down. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Had lunch here today and was very impressed the minute I walked in, great atmosphere, staff were very pleasant and the food “WOW” amazing !!! The staff kindly made me a coffee (mocha) which wasn’t on the menu and once again it was the best coffee I have had (and I drink a lot of it) would highly recommend Globe for all occasions definitely make this a regular place to eat.”

“We have recently tried the Sunday carry-away from Christopher Tamworth, and they are an absolute delight! The food is worth every penny, and the taste was amazing. The gravy was so good that you could practically drink it straight from the pot. And I can’t forget to mention that their sticky toffee pudding is the best I’ve ever had. The quality and flavours exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend giving their Sunday dinners and puddings a try; you won’t be disappointed!”

“I visited last year, but haven’t stopped thinking about the dish I ordered, and as soon as I visit Birmingham, I’ll be back here! I can’t remember what I ordered but it was a sizzling aubergine tofu dish. Totally delicious. The portion was big and I was in a rush, so sadly I couldn’t finish it all, but it would be lovely to share with some rice and other dishes too. Friendly staff and quick service.”

“Great little place run like a military operation by a group of lovely local women. Enough seating inside for about 20 people and a couple of seats outside. Was sat and served really quickly and had a nice full English. Nice atmosphere about the place too.”

“Had a long walk around Sutton Park and decided to take a seat outside and order some food and a drink. There was 5 of us and 6 doggies. You have to order at the till as didn’t seem to be table service which is fine. Long queue that moved quickly and food was prompt on a ticket system. We all ordered a hot drink, my hot chocolate with cream and marsh mellows was lovely, followed by the all day breakfast. Others ordered the chicken wraps and the halloumi. Would definitely visit again. They were also advertising live music etc in the evenings.”

“Chikaros Restaurant – A Flavour Explosion Like No Other! Chikaros completely blew me and my family away. From the moment we walked in, we was hit with the most mouth-watering aromas. We knew we was in for a treat — but we wasn’t prepared for just how incredible it would be. Every dish was a masterpiece. The flavours? Bold. Rich. Perfectly balanced. You could taste the passion in every bite. I honestly caught myself doing a little happy dance in my seat — it was that good. The wings? Unreal. Juicy, crispy, full of kick. The smash burger? Melt-in-your-mouth magic. I don’t even know how they got the chips that crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Witchcraft, maybe. And don’t get me started on the sauces — they should be bottled and sold worldwide. I’d dip everything in them if I could. Service was top-tier. Friendly, fast, and full of smiles. They made us feel like royalty without being overbearing. The vibe in the restaurant was energetic but chilled — perfect for catching up with mates or treating the family. Honestly, if you haven’t been to Chikaros yet, you’re missing out on one of the best food spots in town. I’m already planning my next visit. 10/10. Would eat again. And again. And again.”

“Visited whilst in Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games. They have a lovely terrace which is a must on a sunny day. We sat just inside so had the best of both worlds. The food was delicious and well cooked. The service was impeccable and staff were fantastic. The chef's choice of cheeses were amazing. It was a lovely treat.”

“We popped in to have some food here. The prepayment system is easy to use, and the staff helped us to have a card and top it up. There are different eateries with Korian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese food. The concept is perfect, the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and we had massive portions. “What a delightful hidden gem. In amongst the high rises and the overpass there’s this insanely tasty burger joint. Simple, Affordable a perfect as a stop in on your way into town or somewhere quiet to chat over food. Well cooked. Well seasoned burgers. Fresh ingredients. I had onion rings on the side and they were substantial but not oppressively large.”

“We dined here before attending a performance at the Town Hall. So it was quite quiet at 5pm but it was nice and cosy and we were very well looked after. We had the early bird set menu which was very good value and was delicious. We'll definitely return for pre-show meals!”

“After visiting Earlswood garden centre and being underwhelmed I went onto to Ambleside. Found the plant I wanted AND a great selection of sale plants in good order. Could hardly carry them all. Then a pot of tea and a scone served promptly with a smile - so much better than the visit to the cafe in other garden centre. Highly recommended.”
