“I love this place. The atmosphere is so chilled. The staff are first class and the owner is the cheeriest chap you will come across west of the River Hull. Easy to sit and chill with a few drinks in the sun trap garden at the back but you have to try the food, that is what will make you go back.”

“This is a very nice little cafe in Beverley which serves breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas etc. They used to be in the antiques centre in Butcher Row and have moved to the new premises in Dyer Lane this year. They open till late on a Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. They have a specials board with meals of the day as well as the usual menu.”

“Past this place at the side of the road while out on bike stopped and had dinner it was beautiful the service brilliant the owner even made time to come and talk to us. Definitely call again if in the area . Biker friendly cafe.”

We've ate in top restaurants around the world but we're so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Small little restaurant with open kitchen. Great friendly staff, clean and amazing food and service. “Whilst all the other shops were closed or empty, Abbys was busy! Tucked away in Abbygate we stumbled across this place and was NOT disappointed. Highly recommend this place. Food was great. They don't scrimp on the fillings on their sandwiches. There are three tables outside for dogs.”

“Just returned from this lovely restaurant. 10 ladies looking for somewhere to eat around the area, and a doorman recommended it to us. We were seated downstairs while they set our table up. Ordered numerous starters and mains between us, and everything was absolutely amazing. I personally had the scallops (cooked to perfection) and the wagu burger, which was 1 of the best burgers I've ever had. The staff were fantastic. Brilliant service, nothing was too much for them. Very accommodating. Brilliant atmosphere. Thank you all for a great evening.”

“Visited as a family of 5 and had a truly amazing evening ! Lively atmosphere, well thought-out decor and incredibly friendly staff made us feel right at home . Ordered a mixture of dishes and each nicer than the other, no question on quality of care or presentation. Not to mention the waiters going above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs. The experience matched the last one we had, glad to see they’ve upheld their high standards - looking forward to bringing some friends and visiting again soon, would highly recommend!”

“Quaint tearoom tucked away near the car park for Zebedee's Yard, in the city centre. They have an entire tea menu, where you can browse a selection of black, green, white and herbal teas from around the world, such as the wide varieties of Chinese teas, Indian teas such as Darjeeling and Assam tea, even African teas, such as kosabei tea from Kenya, all ethnically sourced, by the way. “This is everything a family-run cafe should be, and the perfect place both for visitors to Bridlington and locals. A friendly warm greeting and spotlessly clean premises always send out the right message. The quality of the produce they use is clearly from a butcher or farm shop: thick tasty bacon, meaty sausages, delicious black pudding. Their prices are extremely reasonable - they could charge a third more and it would still be great value. Certainly a cafe I would heartily recommend.”

“We visited Saturday night so had the 9 course taster menu. The food was simply amazing! So good waiting for each course not knowing what would be coming next. The chef recommend a wonderful white wine to accompany our meal followed by a wonderful shiraz to finish. The two waitresses who served us were very polite and informative and are an asset to this restaurant. We all had an amazing time. Will certainly be visiting again.”

“I took my partner here for his birthday meal and we both really loved it! I'm a vegetarian and I was recommended the Salmon by our host Jordan. The salmon was absolutely delicious and a really good portion size! The other vegetarian options all looked good with a suprising amount of options which I was pleasantly surprised with. My partner is very much a meat eater (which is why I chose this restaurant for him) and he had a great time! He tried all the meats and his favourite was the garlic salt sirloin steak. He also really enjoyed the honey pork and the lamb. I'm also a big fan of salad bars and we both agreed that this was the best salad bar we've had at a restaurant! Lots of really nice fresh produce that you can tell hadn't been sat there for ages. We were served by Jordan, Ilona and Pusak, all were equally friendly and attentive. It was my partners birthday as I mentioned and they also brought out a cocktail on the house with a candle in it as a suprise which we both thought was very kind. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It's all you can eat which can sometimes be expensive but you 100% got your moneys worth here. We'll definitely be recommending it to others and we'll be coming back next time we're in Beverley! *we didn't take any photos because we were too busy enjoying the food!!*”
