“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem! The Grind is an absolute delight! Their hot chocolate is rich, creamy, and beautifully presented—easily the best I’ve had in a long time. The Turkish food is packed with authentic flavor, freshly made, and full of heart. Don’t even get me started on the homemade cakes—they’re just the right balance of indulgent and comforting. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is always friendly. Highly recommend if you’re after something a little special!”
“I have been in staying for two weeks in Staines now as a tourist and this food is the best food I have tried since I came here. We will go back there for dinner for sure. Update: We went to have a dinner and the food was very delicious again. The staff were lovely as always.”
“I love this soft play. Every time I visit, my son is so happy and relaxed. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Menu has a lot of different options and I will definitely try more of your dishes whenever I come. Convenient place to have coffee and food if you have toddlers and you want to entertain them while enjoying nice meals. They also have a kid’s menu so it definitely worths it a try.”
“Great menu and delicious, authentic Romanian dishes!! We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. What a great place! Must try!!!”
“We booked this place sight unseen for a local reunion for 12 people. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and gave discreet but friendly service even though we were all busy catching up with 30+ years of news. The food was good and catered well for vegans and vegetarians, as well as meat eaters, although a couple of the dishes were a little oversalted. Was also accessible to people with disabilities. We stayed for five hours and felt very welcome for the whole time. Recommended. Thank you Bistro Corner!”
“Only tried tiramasu for food but it was so light, fluffy and delicious. Would come back to try breakfast and/or mains. Enjoyed the atmosphere and feel - lovely for cosy, intimate catch ups with a loved one. Thank you so much Dave for your friendly service and for the complimentary drinks after noticing it was my friends birthday. Would recommend! Update: another complimentary brownie with a candle from Zach after hearing it was my friends birthday! Thank you so much! Also love the heated outdoor area which has shelter from rainy nights”
“5 stars are just not enough for the food and services we received in GIA. Would have given them 10 stars if Google allows! We lived in Dalston for our stay in London and found GIA accidentally. We went there twice during our stay and both the English and Mediterranean breakfast we had were absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and all the food on the dishes (even the honey that they make it themselves) were so delicious that we still want to head back for their breakfast even after we moved out from Dalston! The waiter there was very nice and considerate and it’s definitely a very pleasant experience to have our start of the day there! Highly recommend this place to anyone!”
“Just spent a lovely afternoon at Bistro Marie, having lunch with our lovely neighbours. Julie our host, owner, cook & waitress was an absolute star. So friendly and ready to put together anything you like, she even popping out to get some extra bits and bobs. Fantastic food, very tasty. All round winner as far as I concerned. And I will be back. Oh, and one final thing, Julie will open outside of her stated hours, all you have to do is book. Lovely time all round.”
“Absolutely fantastic - so much to praise, and absolutely a restaurant I'd recommend. This is a venue with charm - lovely ambiance, atmosphere and staff, all led by a chef that clearly knows how to run a top restaurant. The menu is small plates, and having had the majority of it, I'm confident in saying each course is a delight - delicious, well-presented and innovative, but crucially not just innovation for the sake of it. Well worth a visit.”
“Served by (I thiiiiiiink I’m remembering the name right) Connor, great service great cocktails lovely snacks. Will be back! Can recommend charcuterie board and the amaretto and whiskey sour :)”
“If you’re looking for a really delicious (halal) breakfast in North Finchley this little cafe is perfect! I got the Turkish breakfast and my husband had the full halal English. Breakfast. Prices are really good too. Oh and if you like your food spicey, ask for their home made chillie sauce *chefs kiss*”
“The eggs were a bit runny but everything else was really good, a bit toasted bread, a bit spiced up avocado.”
“Breakfast was really tasty and staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend!”
“I have been all over London and have eaten at many restaurants over the last week and half. Hands down the best service in London. The breakfast i had was excellent!”
“Great place to do your laundry and have a coffee and snack to pass the time or have it laundered for you while you go about your day. Shout out to the owner, he is the kindest man and a wonderful conversationalist. He is a huge Elvis fan and works 7 days a week and only takes 2 days off a year. He's never been to Graceland, but I'm hoping with all my heart he makes it there someday soon. You deserve it, sir! If you do decide to pass by please say hello and be kind.”
“We came here by chance and were really impressed! The food, service, and warm welcome were all excellent. Everything was delicious, especially the shakshuka and Mediterranean which we highly recommend!”
“We all got excellent breakfast, full english - both veggie and non veggie. The Bloody Mary was delicious and the service was homely and welcoming. Will definitely visit again!”
“There's not much I would recommend to see or visit in Mottingham apart from Egg & Co. Honestly every time we go there we leave with happy spirit and a full belly! It's dog friendly, it's great for children and it's beautifully decorated! Inside it's giving Mamma Mia vibes, it has so much heart in it, you have to visit! The staff goes above and beyond (just ask our rescue dog who feels super comfortable there) and it's a huge portion for a very reasonable price. We love Egg & Co.!!”
“Absolute delicious breakfast. Real quality taste.”
“A hidden gem. Thankful I stumbled across this cafe, definitely a new favourite. Excellent food throughout and the prices are also reasonable. Decor is also great, spacious and relaxed.”
“We went here as a family of eleven for our daughter’s 18th birthday tonight and was so impressed. The food was spectacular. The service was exceptional. I cannot fault it at all. A massive thank you for such a memorable evening and we can’t wait to come back!”
“Incredible food and wine for date night! Empty plates for both of us, it was all delicious. Lovely small local restaurant, recommend booking.”
“Eleena's is wonderful. Glad we found this quaint little place. Only in London for a few days and only wish we would have found this sooner. The food was beautifully seasoned, the service was a delight and just an all around great place. Can we get a carbon copy of this great restaurant back in the US?”
“First time I've been here. Staff are genuinely friendly, warm and helpful. They have a smile to greet you and eye contact which I think is lacking in most places. Food a step above the normal brunch. Bacon and sausages good quality and poached eggs perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place.”
“While working in the Chertsey area, I discovered Ohanas Café Bistro and stopped in for a quick breakfast — a decision well worth making. The café offers a welcoming atmosphere with a relaxed, friendly vibe. Service was prompt and efficient, making it an ideal choice for those short on time. I ordered the Eggs Royal and a cappuccino. Both were well-prepared: the eggs perfectly poached, the hollandaise smooth and balanced, and the coffee rich and satisfying. Ohanas Café Bistro is a great find — highly recommended for its quality, service, and atmosphere.”
“Highly recommend Bistro 101 for brunch or dinner. I’ve eaten dinner here on several occasions, and always found that there is an interesting selection of dishes on the menu and that the food is always consistently good. Lunchtime was no different with a good choice of brunch options available. I chose egg and avocado on sourdough toast, which was delicious. We were served by Nikki, who looked after us and delivered the food quickly and efficiently.”
“What a fabulous little spot! Great fresh good quality food and great coffee. Very friendly service. A lovely place.”
“True gem! It’s hard to find places now days that don’t compromise quality for profit margins. Came here for the medi breakfast and also ordered the shaksuka. Ingredients were so fresh and great quality. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. Will be my regular spot for me going forward.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed date night with my partner here! The food, staff and service was perfect. We’ll definitely be back soon x”
“FIVE STARS all the way. Food is top notch. Service top level. Atmosphere, very welcoming, cosy and relaxing. Perfect venue for a family meal. Parking nearby is the only downside. Highly recommended.”
