“First time I've been here. Staff are genuinely friendly, warm and helpful. They have a smile to greet you and eye contact which I think is lacking in most places. Food a step above the normal brunch. Bacon and sausages good quality and poached eggs perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place.”
“Had a fantastic experience here. The food was great and of good quality. Portions were more than generous and especially for a kids roast. The atmosphere was very unexpected with someone playing the piano by the entrance. People working there were all very fun and bubbly to be around and engaged with the kids too.”
“Lovely food, friendly staff / owner and fair prices. Perfect for me!”
“I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. With everything thank you so much for making it such a special day.”
“Excellent service and they did our breakfasts exactly how we wantent them. The prices are responsible and the place does get busy at times but they are able to manage.”
“104 Restaurant by Richard Wilkins is very small (max 16 covers) but, for me, is a perfect restaurant. The food is outstanding (as good as any Michelin starred restaurant). The service was excellent, friendly and informative and there was a lovely ambience where you could enjoy the food, wine and your friends/family. I couldn't recommend it more highly!”
“Stumbled upon this place when visiting to the area (I've not been to the area before). It's a lovely set up and Tom was really welcoming and friendly. The coffee was amazing and will definitely be going back whenever I visit.”
“We really really enjoyed our evening at Augustine Kitchen - it was a very special night with great food and amazing wine suggestion. We will be back soon !”
“Went for brunch on Sunday without a reservation. Had to wait for about 10-15 Mon for a table for 4 but all worth it. Had smashed avocado and American pancakes, my other half had pulled pork. All was great and looking forward to our next visit. Menu was looking great. Felt bright and modern. Service was polite, quick and efficient.”
“Barley Mow is excellent all round. Good food with regular menu changes and special events. Always friendly staff and pleasant location. Special offers for less busy times and dates”
“Whenever I'm in the area, this is always where I go. Even before the revamp. But since the revamp, the food has been sensational. Staff are always warm and welcoming. The food is presented well and the fruit smoothies are great! Definitely recommend this place! They do a good variety of food too!”
“Great menu options, friendly service and nice atmosphere. A range of menu items from full dinner items through to pastries, sandwiches, salads and snacks. Drinks include hot drinks with alternatives to dairy milk (eg Oat) and cocktails”
“We held my grandad’s wake at The Nag’s Head last week and I honestly couldn’t fault them. Artur, the general manager, was incredibly helpful throughout and made the whole process so easy for us. The staff were kind, attentive and respectful, which meant a lot to our family on such a difficult day. They put on a really lovely buffet that was well presented and enjoyed by everyone, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Thank you to Artur and his team!”
“I always get a large curry here and take it back to my room when I'm in London. It's such good value and excellent to taste. It does me three meals for 12 pounds. To look at it's just a small takeaway nothing special. But I value Rufirs.”
“Visited Dec2024. A cute little cafe at a transit hub, ideally located for quick food on the go. Frequented by locals and workers. All good everyday snacks and breakfasts. Very basic, very quick. Great coffee.”
“Can recomend very nice we ordered over phone”
