“Probably the best prawns I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked in a lovely batter with a delicious satay sauce and a perfectly charred lettuce. Would go again just for this. Dessert was also spectacular. A warm chocolate muffin with chocolate sauce inside served alongside a coconut ice cream. Delicious. Atmosphere and waiting staff all on point. Didn't have to wait long for the food or the bill. Top marks.”

“Went to the wee bistro today without a reservation as I was only in the area for work last night and wanted some food before heading off. The staff were friendly and we're so incredibly in-control despite how busy it was. The music was good, loud but not too loud or overbearing. All the food was seasoned and tasted fresh. All portions were big and price was reasonable. Would 100% come back again”

“Lovely little bistro a stone's throw from the water. Sophisticated but relaxed ambience with interesting works of art. A good wine list with more than enough options. Lamp rump was likely the best I've ever had - there's a reason they keep getting Taste of Ulster plaques. My companions' duck filet and the homemade tagliatelle with lamb ragu were well received. And dessert was delicious. Service was attentive with a light touch. Worth a visit but advise you make reservations.”

“Love this restaurant. Eat here every year on our overnight stay before catching the ferry to Scotland the next morning . It's not often you peruse a menu and literally love everything on it but that's what you feel at Ginger Bistro. Service is just great, cocktails, food, obviously, and wines plus great ambience. One of our favourite places anywhere!”

“Had our staff Xmas do here this afternoon. Nothing was a bother to the person looking after us. He was a lovely genuine guy. Food was lovely and we had a lovely time. Didn’t realise till after they weren’t open till 5 so accommodated our lunch time request no questions asked. Highly recommend and love they are local east Belfast company which we love to support”

“Super SE Asian takeaway, best in Northern Ireland so far. Lovely service, wonderful flavours and food turned up at a very good temperature, which is always a concern for me. I'd highly recommend for authentic SE Asian food.”

“Brewed now serves street food in the evenings. They’ve not updated their opening hours on their Google page, but the food is amazing. The loaded fries are especially good. Staff are attentive, and the atmosphere is lively. Worth a visit even if you’re in a neighbouring town!!”

“Dropped in to this quite busy bistro. Enjoyed a tasty buffalo wrap with a generous side of fries. Had the house coffee brewed to perfection. Extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend, will be back to try something different the next time from the extensive menu which has something for everyone.”

“Easy booking online and reminders etc Food was lovely you could tell it was authentic Thai and a nice atmosphere Myself and my wife enjoyedthe whole experience and I was impressed by the lady whom was running the whole show and not out to impress as the food does that for itself It was a Thursday evening so not as busy I'm sure of like a Friday or Saturday where she might need a hand ☺”

“Must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the the reception and treatment I received from the waitresses at this establishment, especially Jenna who was extremely helpful in helping us decide what selection to make. We settled for the club sandwich each. In truth one would have been sufficient. There was alot of filling and there was no way you could describe it as bland. Well recommended”

“The restaurant was highly recommended to me by The Moxy Hotel, they were not wrong, the food and service was outstanding. But my visit tonight was overshadowed by an obnixious customer, who was extremely rude, but the professionalism and calmness, especially from Jasmine was exemplary, the situation was so well managed; this needs to be recognised and acknowledged by the management as to what a great team you have.”
