“The Millars Bar Balllycarry is a great place to stop and get dinner. The Service was excellent and the staff was super friendly. The food was quick to come out. Our order was not only correct but very good. The appetizer wings are some of the best wings I have ever had! Millars Bar Ballycarry is a place we will be back to!”
“I've never been so drunk in my life, I remember throwing up in the taxi costing £50, it was an expensive day out :) great pool table though! Friendly staff”
“Had a great fry this afternoon with a mate , the food was super and the lady who served us was lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming. Will be back without a shadow of doubt”
“We had a nice drink and bite to eat here last Sunday afternoon. The service was very good and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious small plates /tapas style. I will definitely come back again.”
“Best bar in Bangor. Guinness best in the country. One of the only places left where it's not chilled to the point of no flavour. Also a proper pub; no food, sports on quietly in the corner, mix of interesting characters.”
“That's a cool place for having a cocktail or something else. We've visited it during a Food tour and it's been great.”
“Been in a few times when I’m over with work with my book and to play some pool and do the quiz. Nice bar staff and relaxed clientele, very much a local community pub which seems to have a different event on every night.”
“The pints are actually class This is a proper bar”
“Found this place accidentally and I couldn't be more thankful! Easily one of the best, if not the best, meal of my life. My party of four had: duck, ribs, lamb, and superfood salad as mains and sticky pudding for dessert. It was absolutely incredible! If you have the opportunity it is WELL worth your time. I'd rate this higher if it were possible. Delicious!”
“Great family run pub. Staff really friendly. Perfect Guinness”
“Fantastic staff warm atmosphere bar totally upgraded plenty of TV's for music horseracing football etc Friday Saturday Sunday fantastic music home from home”
“I wouldn't recommend it specifically for jazz but the service was impeccable, food and cocktails delicious! Music was fine but nothing special as artists seemed quite bored or tired.”
“Great venue for live music, although very small. Staff are always helpful and polite. They even formed a great band, which is actually rather good. Parking can be an issue but only 5 mins walk from York Street train station. Have been there many times, last Sunday was our latest visit. The food is rather good too. Well worth a visit at anytime”
“Great staff and bartender, cute patio out back and plenty of room to dine or drink and listen to live music”
“Had an excellent meal at the Parlour Bar. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Expect a very large portion for a reasonable price. I'd advise making a reservation if you're planning to attend on the weekends. Overall a very excellent meal and establishment.”
“Great coffee Lovely fresh tray bakes Friendly staff Great location All round a really nice place to visit. Easy parking Lovely stunning views over Strangford lough”
“Called in today, being brave for solo drinks, in search of the best Bloody Mary in Belfast! It did not disappoint me….. a lovely female server gave me a great Bloody Mary… and she was knowledgeable and fun. The atmosphere was amazing, great music, trendy but still kept a local pub’ feel about it. Thank you for making my solo visit easy and welcoming”
“Reliable favourite. Absolutely flawless food, seasonal flavours and always a warm welcome. Alistair just made the evening. Good value for money when it comes to quality and service. Great wine menu.”
“Been in a few times when over with work. It’s very much a community bar but the inside retains an all wood interior making it visually very unique. Very reasonably priced drinks, friendly locals and the live music was great. Read my book a few times with the football also, haven’t tried the food but assured it’s very good.”
“Easily the best bar in town. Great service, fantastic food, friendly atmosphere and always enjoy our day's/nights out here”
“Great wee local pub.bartenders great Gary the owner is a good lad.”
“Amazing place for drink with friends, not busier but silent place for gossip etc.”
“This has to be one of the most friendliest pubs in Antrim, great food too. There is an old saying "there are no strangers in this bar, only friends who haven't met yet" this is very true of this bar.”
“Great food. Sever even brought my wife some lasagne which she had never tasted before with a little candle on it because it was her birthday too.”
“This wonderful hotel is located in the former White Star Line drawing rooms. The windows have been preserved, creating a particularly cozy atmosphere, and there are numerous paintings with photographs of the Titanic and all those involved in its construction. The hotel is clean, and in the rooms you'll find a book about the hotel with numerous photos on the desk. The showers are clean, and the staff is polite.”
“Really delicious food. Waiters were super nice and gave me a laugh. There was a crazy lady at the table next to me (seriously. I've never seen someone act like that in public - no way she was sober) so that was good entertainment and the staff handled it really well. Props to them for that. The blackberry panacotta was really delicious!! And the mignonette for the oysters was perfect. A bit pricy but very good food, I wasn't mad about my bill”
“First time here, always heard good things and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing with big portions. Staff were very friendly. Came on a Thursday afternoon and place was quiet but nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back!”
“The meal was better than I expected, to be honest. Especially given the reasonable pricing. The seafood chowder was served piping hot and was thick and fresh tasting. The brisket rigatoni was delicious. Plenty of beef in the dish and the sauce was slightly sweet. Didn't have a dessert because the servings were enough. Would return.”
“Fab food,very reasonable prices,great service”
