Popped in with some visiting friends from the US (staying in the AC Marriott, about 100m away) for a light dinner. We each had a small plate and shared 2 sides, the food was excellent! Recommend visiting Gnostic, only a short walk from the Cathedral Quarter too!

Far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the friendly welcome we received to the absolutely outstanding food we had. Just brilliant. We had a set (Wowcher) meal at Β£50 which included a Β£30 bottle of excellent wine, any three mains plus two sides. We had a lamb ragu, a beef rib, belly pork, hassleback potatoes and spiced parsnips. All of it was gorgeous and such good value. The beef was a Β£5 supplement but when we came to pay we hadn’t got money for that plus a tip (stupidly only had € not Β£). So the guy that served us insisted we just forget it. He just wouldn’t let us pay it. Our experience was excellent anyway but that just sealed it for us as right up there in the β€œyou have to go here” category. Outstanding. Thank you.

Had a very nice meal here tonight. It was a small intimate dining experience with jack who was attentive to our requirements and his very capable ginger mate out the back who did all the work. The beers were good and cold and the squid was a different presentation than expected but very enjoyable. The bisque was also an enjoyable variation. The side dish of chips were not standard frozen chips but rustic country rough cut. Thanks Jack hope you enjoy your holiday. Buy your ginger mate a beer he deserves it.

We had a nice drink and bite to eat here last Sunday afternoon. The service was very good and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious small plates /tapas style. I will definitely come back again.

Had an amazing and relaxed dinner at Gnostic Bar and Kitchen. The menu was simple, so did not take too much time to decide what we wanted to have. The food came very quickly, and everything was delicious. It's a small place, but the atmosphere is nice. The staff were very friendly and communicative, suggesting dishes, or the idea of how many plates per person. The drinks menu had a great selection as well, from wines to cocktails.

Very nice, cozy little bar and lounge. We reserved a table for 5 in the lounge but, despite there being at least 2 tables open when we arrived, they told us we would have to sit in the bar downstairs, which was smaller and required pushing two small round tables together for the five of us to eat. It was very hot in there - the two AC units on the wall read 28 degrees and 30 degrees. Other than that, the experience was very nice. We ordered crispy cod sliders, beef sliders, the Lebanese lamb served on flatbread, goat cheese tortellini, and hit smoked salmon. It was all delicious and served quickly. The drinks were all prepared well and not at all watered down. For dessert, we ordered the Raspberry and Olive Oil Cake, and the Dark Chocolate Pave. Although we weren't thrilled with the seating, the server was very attentive and the proprietor/manager came and visited with us and was funny and kind.

Previously called Muldoons which was a real local bar. This new venture has a really good selection of food, great quality ingredients and all dishes are really flavoursome. Decent pint of Guinness too. Only a small place downstairs but there is also an upstairs. Very hip and happening in such a quiet part of the city and a busy spot too. Handy for the AC Marriott hotel and for all the workers in Clarendon Dock. Service was super too.

Went here with a friend on Belfast Pride Day. A little out of the way but a quieter place on a Saturday. Had the steak sandwich. Its a little pricey at Β£12 for what you get which is a slice of ciabatta with steak, feta and leaves. I couldn't fault the quality though with chips on the side. So if you're expecting something more substantial, this isn't for you. The barman was pleasant as well and the place looks great.

Gnostic is our new favourite for food and cocktails. Classy decor good music and brilliant small plates. We had pork belly tacos, steak sandwich and squid/chorizo. The Daily Tot rum cocktail was amazing! Perfect new chilled cocktail bar.
