The service was so good, there was a young boy and he was so lovely and attentive. But, the food wasn't great, my lasagna was pretty dry and tasteless like it had been reheated in a microwave.

+Romantic surroundings +Friendly staff +Clean – Service not great, my wife’s second drink had to be requested 3 times taking 20 mins – tear n share bread burnt on top – pizza cooked well and looked good but base was completely burnt black on underside. I did eat it as I was very hungry and didn’t want waste time going elsewhere. – my wife’s lasagne was poor quality and lacked the pasta slices so really was a block off meat. – bill comes with automatic service charge! £85 seems very very expensive for a bit of burnt warm bread, 12” burnt pizza and a lasagne, no sides, 2 beers 2 small cocktails. It’s a thanks but NO thanks from us!!!

Lovely experience incredible staff, the atmosphere is incredible and just so beautiful. It's a really cosy feeling and you are almost transported out of Belfast the minute you sit down. Food was above and beyond good, I had carbonara and my friend had a vegan pizza plus a hummus to share, it was far too much but we would go back again. Bit in the higher price side for drinks but they are so tasty, top place to try!

Loved it here on Sunday evening! Bookings are a must as all tables were busy and walk ins were turned away when we entered. Staff were lovely, service was very prompt and efficient. Portions were great and quality of food was outstanding! Atmosphere is gorgeous!!

Pros: waiter/ waitress were attentive ; food came quick Cons: Starter: we ordered the mac&cheese deep fried ball thing (eatable) 6/10 ; also ordered feat cheese dip (the dip was not really a dip, just a bowl of melted cheese, so you can’t even dip the bread into it, you need to cut the cheese and place it onto the bread, interesting dip) 4/10 Mains: the gnocchi dish on the menu didn’t say it’s a creamy dish, so if you are going to order it, be prepared and they are some big fat gnocchi that look like a baby potato… will fill you up for 2 days My friend and partner ordered pizza and chicken dish - average and overpriced £25 for such average dish ummm, better find a good recipe to cook at home for this price. Dessert: wooo amazingly horrible — tiramisu, not much flavour- 80% is cream so if you just want to eat cream and spend £8, go for it… Lemon tart, not really a tart. Lemon tasted like the one you get from Lidl. Worse thing is Lidl one probably tastes better and costs you less than what we paid. Overall you can get better dessert in Aldi/ Lidl or any other supermarket with much lower price. Drinks: why not have some warm Diet Coke yayy … Will I come back? No. Is the meal unforgettable? 100% because we have never such bad desserts before when other people gave 4 stars and above. Maybe we just ordered wrong dishes… Quality of food 3.5/10 Quantity of food 5/10

Not my first and definitely not last visit! Been here before, yet my recent visit was especially pleasant. I didn’t get the name, but the man in the picture was really good. He gave me some vegetarian/vegan recommendations & was very attentive. Probably the busiest member of staff that day, which was quite hard to get the bill but it’s understandable. Definitely will return as I fell in love with your meat free spaghetti ☺️

Nice Italian restaurant. Quite busy but the staff were very friendly. Had a very tasty salad and my partner had meatballs. Both came out freshly prepared and were beautiful.

On the surface I had a good experience in the restaurant as the decor was eccentric and staff were friendly and helpful. However, I wasn't too enamoured by the food which I thought was really bland contrary to other reviews which commented on the authenticity of the Italian food. The tomatoes were bland and the bread was soggy not toasted. Same with the pizza where both the tomato sauce and toppings were bland and from jars I guess. The pizza base I'm quite sure is a frozen pizza base not homemade, which I wouldn't expect for £16. The portions were okay but in terms of the cost:flavour ratio I don't think it was anywhere near worth it. It was so so so expensive for what is actually better from fast food pizza places. I was happy to pay these prices if the food was up to the standard I was paying for, but sadly I did feel ripped off for the food I ordered and paid for. I also massively disagree with their practise to charge a non-refundable deposit for booking a table, even if you just want to change the time of the booking. Firstly, they didn't deduct my deposit from the bill or ask if I paid a deposit. I had to come to a realisation the next day and physically go back to the restaurant for a refund. I would like to give benefit of the doubt but what if they are "forgetting" to refund deposit and bank on people also forgetting. They would pocket thousands extra per quarter. This general non-refundable/forgetting scenario is really quite unusual for the industry and people are easily caught off guard. It's more common for deposits to be automatically refunded to your account. Restaurant management should understand plans change and should be dynamic to some degree if enough notice is given, it's put me off coming back or recommending it to anyone. At the extreme least, they must more clearly inform people booking the terms of their deposit AND train their staff to ask if patrons paid a deposit and the value every single time a bill is requested. Other reviews highlight this issue too.
