Superb. No need to read on, make a booking now. Traditional bistro / European / brasserie food. Sadly I have only been the once, but everything on the menu looks delicious. The service was great, the restaurant had a nice warm feeling, everything was amazing. Will be going again the next time I am in Belfast.

We visited Coco during a weekend in Belfast. What a gem this place is! The food was unreal. Every single dish we had as a group of 8, was absolutely delicious. Some of us even ended up having 3 courses as we didn’t want to miss out of tasting the desserts. The service was brilliant with staff constantly checking in if you wanted anything and ensuring your wine was topped up. It’s well worth a visit!

It had been years since I had visited Coco. What a wonderful surprise! The decor was quite unique, with original paintings. The artist paints fantastical animals with clown type faces! Very original. We both chose Christmas dinner. Although the restaurant was busy, the food was excellent. Presented in an attractive way. Although we arrived early in the morning evening, there was a good number of other diners so there was a good atmosphere. The music was the right volume and Christmas songs, which added to the ambiance. So many places have the music being played too loudly. Would we return? Definitely!!

Your Next Food Trip ★★☆☆☆
Coco is one of the top rated restaurants in Belfast, but unfortunately for me I might have gotten in on a bad day. We had the roast beef here on a Sunday, and the beef was so tough and chewy that I honestly couldn’t finish it. The restaurant itself is quirky and has character, with all the artworks all around the restaurant. The risotto was alright although a tad bit to the salty side. I had high expectations due to the reviews, but maybe I just ordered the wrong dish.

My wife and I each a GREAT meal at Coco restaurant in Belfast. She had Thai coconut cod, mussels and prawn. Then she had Chicken with vegetables ad anchovy butter. Mine was a starter of smoked mackerel with greens, my main was linguine wit mussels. I regret I didn’t document with a photo. I did get the desserts.

What can I say, food was yum yum bubble gum :-) I had the sea food linguini absolutely delightful, it had been complemented with a fusion of chilli which worked insanely well for a fish dish, delivering a pleasurable kick to the taste buds. Will be back again :-)
