Was recommended to try this place and unfortunately was a big let down. Chicken burger was raw and had to be sent back. Then my replacement burger didn't have the extras I ordered. Service was slow and had to ask for the bill multiple times. The bill also had mistakes on it. Overall very poor and overpriced.

After a nice time at Bert’s jazz bar we walked around to find a place to eat and after passing a few, this place pulled us in. It was quiet and decorated just lovely. We had drinks and a bunch of apps to share. Very cozy and tasty. We should’ve ordered more!

Unfortunately after really looking forward to picking this restaurant for our date night we were left deflated. On arriving nobody was there to welcome us then a girl eventually took us to our table pleasant enough. The waiter arrived and did not have any clue about the wine list. Asked about two wines in particular and he waffled agreed he didn't know then walked away to which we thought he was going to get someone that could advise, he then came back with more waffle. Ended up ordering a regular bottle of house sauvignon blanc. We had to ask for water several times, we decided to go for small plates and ordered 6 between us and a side portion of truffle fries. The fries were not cooked properly and sent them back the supervisor re ordered a second portion they were worse than the first portion not cooked rock hard. I get the kitchen is very busy but we were not even dining at a peak time it was early evening Like who can't cook chips!! A very attentive supervisor tried his best to address the situation but we asked for a manager. The manager was apologetic about wine and chips gave us two complimentary shots and that was it. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this restaurant The tapas small plates were edible but I feel you could rustle this up at home.

The tapas here was phenomenal! I was torn between a main and tapas and if I could, I'd have had most of the menu if I could have! I dined alone and had 4 different tapas, the tempura cod, the goats cheese croquettes with lavender honey and the pork belly bites (these were the absolute stars!) Btw ..writing this review immediately after the meal! I have already enquired if they are open in the day for lunch so I can come back before I leave for home! I had my eye on the garlic mussels so I'd love to try these next!!

A fantastic place. We came in by chance on a quiet Sunday night when other places were full and so pleased we did! The tapas and larger plates were all of excellent quality and well prepared. Great service and atmosphere. Would definitely return.
