Lovely relaxing atmosphere service and food definitely 5 star ⭐ We both had rump steak we asked for cooked well done and tasted beautiful. The staff very helpful and polite. I highly recommend Deanes we will most definitely call back again I only took photos of the my desert, 'crème burlee'. You will see how beautifully it was presented and just as beautiful in taste

Food is amazing, ordered two ribeye one raw one well done, both served exactly as requested. Meat was high quality, juicy and sided by some nice vegetables and chips, everything just made. Dessert was fresh, tasty and creamy as appeared. Food was accompanied by a full bodied french red wine, which just confirmed the quality experience as a whole (the wine list ranges from Europe to South America nord america and south Africa as well). The sitting was comfortable , white and clean , nicely gently perfumed. Staff professional, friendly and attentive. Price aligned with the quality delivered, slightly below (but same quality) compared to a couple of similar places nearby.

Had a blast of a great dinner. The grass feed filet was purely amazing, as well the marrow bone. Only remark is the desert, which did not meet my expectations as per the descriotion, but the quality was nevertheless very high level and the cake was tasty. The restaurant is a bit loud, especially during weekend.

We ate in Deanes Meat Locker however we had the menu from the new Mr Deanes. Fantastic service are really good food, reasonably priced given the quality of the offerings. Well worth a visit. The fish and chips are without doubt the best around. Melt in the mouth large haddock fillets, good quality tartar sauce and excellent chips (if any little over seasoned)

Went to the Deanes at first but there was no one at the reception, so we stood for like 5mins before someone came and told us we were booked for the Meat Locker so we had to leave. Got the Meat Locker- warmer reception, nicer ambience! The service was a solid 10! They were rolling out dishes from the kitchen really quickly and always checked if we needed anything, at different times! The pork breast starter was so good! The steak was nice as well but I didn’t like the sauce that was recommended. My mock tail was really nice but the ice cream was mid. It was too sweet so I barely touched it. Overall, it was a great experience and I do recommend!

Very disappointed in our experience this evening, our meals had great flavours but were verging on cold and undercooked. The biggest issue was the ambient temperature, we were seated close to the kitchen door and the draft would have cut corn. Not what I would expect from a Michelin stared restaurant. We actually had to move my wife’s seat to avoid the draft. Even my coffee wasn’t very warm. I like eating seafood and had been looking forward to going here for a long time. I don’t believe I will be back. We have been to Mourne seafood many times and always look forward to returning. I wish I hadn’t broke tradition

Fantastic dinner. Started off with an Irish Old Fashioned that was appropriately strong. 8 oz filet ordered medium rare was done perfectly and delicious. It didn't technically need the chili & fennel butter, but it was there so why not? The "triple cooked chips" were the thickest fry-type cut of potato I've ever had with a crispy outside and soft center. All was brought out piping hot. I wasn't about to quit without desert, so I got the Chocolate Delice w/ cherry & vanilla ice cream. Excellent finisher. As I'm traveling on business I was alone, but the atmosphere here would be better enjoyed as a couple or a group. I refuse to let being alone stand in the way of a good meal. I included pictures of their current menus so you can see the other offerings. It's not cheap, but will certainly be a memorable meal if you go.

We absolutely loved every delicious bite of our meal here.We started with a French martini and a Belfast jawbox gin and tonic and shared a snack of whitebait. Then I had the crab toast, light, flavoursome and so pretty. Dave had the tempura prawns and vegetables, deemed delicious. He then had the scallops and risotto, lovely portion size and fabulous seafood flavour. I had the monkfish with pommes Anna and courgette, beautiful presentation and perfectly judged flavours. Just perfect. We still had room to fill,so I had the passion fruit pannacotta with coconut nibs, soft not solidly set,I didn't want it to end. Dave had a cheese platter with Milleens,Comte and Cashel blue. We drank sparkling water and a chilled bottle of Hungarian Tokaji. Would highly recommend but probably recommend that you should book well in advance. Expensive at £164.56 but worth every penny for a treat.

Perfectly cooked steaks (we went for fillet), and a friendly, efficient service in a superb location. Triple cooked chips were fantastic. Our table was right beside the kitchen so was great to see the chefs in action. Highly recommended!
