“Delightful experience. Well deserved one star. The room is both stylish and relaxing. Service is warm and attentive but not fussy. The food was inventive and always delivered flavour with flair. The wine list is well curated and not overwhelming. Lots of variety and price points with a wide range of by-the-glass wines. We didn't go for matching wines but the sommelier Nick gave us great recommendations. Highly recommend for a special dinner.”

“The food was really great, we had the monkfish, steak and lamb. As well as some delicious starters and desserts! The staff made sure we were well looked after even though there were a few really large groups! We thought we had booked into SHU but were seated in the downstairs area "Juls". It had a slightly different atmosphere with music with quite a loud bass. Not sure if the music was turned down or we got used to it but wasn't noticeable after a while!”

“Great selection of fish. I had the hake supper, and my partner had a chicken burger (there is your classic cod/haddock but also sole and pollock - hard to find elsewhere). Both used quality ingredients, and they were succulent and tasty. Would highly recommend.”

“Overwood is beautifully decorated restaurant with wonderful engraved glass artwork on the walls. The menu was geared more to steak lovers but found some excellent alternatives in the monkfish dish accompanied by baked baby potatoes with Parmesan and glazed carrots. Our starters were excellent too. I enjoyed a delicious celeriac salad with raisins and apple and smoked broccoli. Very unique flavour and very tasty. Portions were generous so I had no room for dessert! Rachel was an excellent, friendly and highly efficient server. Thank you. We will be back!”

“Absolutely amazing! The beef burger was delicious as were the fat chips. The white chocolate cheesecake is to die for with its honeycomb ice cream and strawberries. Great staff too. Relaxed atmosphere and funky decor. Made in Belfast had been recommended and I’m so glad I visited.”

“Staff were very pleasant and keen to serve. The food was beautiful. My seafood dish contained almost as many prawns as usually served in a purely king prawn dish, but augmented with monkfish and squid. I would thoroughly recommend.”

“We were at a family dinner for my daughters 30th birthday. There were 23 of us and each order was taken individually and everything was correct. The food was lovely. It was all Hot and fresh. We have been a few times before and it is always great nothing is too much trouble the staff were all lovely it is always a pleasure dining here”

“Love love love...We enjoyed a brunch with cocktails and spent time afterwards sitting outside in the sunshine before popping off around Belfast. We ended our evening by stopping in again for one last tipple before we headed home. Really attentive staff and one bar man in particular was an absolute pleasure; nothing was too much; a true old school attentive service. We left feeling so Glam and cared for. Thank you.”

“The food here is great! It was good value for money too, not to mention I ordered on just eat so it was probably abit more dearer like other takeaways be and it was still worth it! Big portions and we even got a free garlic nan bread. The house sauce was phenomenal, also received it has a freebie I think. Quick enough delivery too, definitely recommend.”

“Tasty food, both dishes delicious. Service was also good. Two young girls served us. They were friendly and helped out with our questions. The prices fair but not as cheap as I would have expected from a chinese restaurant, however, it is in all the area the same range of prices. Most of the dishes between 8.50 and 12 pounds.”

“We were looking for a quick bait in Belfast and found The Bridge House. We ordered the cheese melt and the spicy chicken hamburgers, the chicken was not too spicy nice amount of chips and onion rings, the meat hamburger was overcooked, like it more juicy, it comes with a drink for £12 a piece is a steal!! The service is great, very amicable and attentive, the place was packed I guess because it was Sunday lunch but we find a table easily. Like the place. Will try their breakfast.”

“This is a great place for food take away food. I have a rather restrictive diet but they were happy to modify the menu to suit me and didnt charge any more to do it. Everyone was super freindly amd helpful. If I am in the area again I know I will return to this fantastic place.”
