“Popped into Steak Strip Bar me and wife ordered the steak wrap and fries with peppercorn and bearnaise sauce quite honestly the best steak ive tried lovely meal. Would definitely return we had a chat with the the owner who was very pleasant im sure this resturant will thrive really enjoyed our visit top class.”

“WOW ! What a lovely place, this is the first time i have visited but my sister is local and has been here several times before.. We were a party of 9 celebrating our aunties 80th birthday. The food was really nice and cooked fresh. The restaurant is a lovely building and very nicely decorated. The staff were all very helpfull, freindly, happy, polite and couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend a visit to The Stables to anyone, i just wish i lived nearer. Well done to the staff, keep up the hard work. A return visit in August 2024 for my Mum's birthday celebration. Another excellent meal at the Stables BBQ and another excellent experience. Food, atmosphere and staff all fantastic. Loved every second of our visit.”

“It's our go to restaurant for steak even though we're not local to it it's worth the trip. Always melt in the mouth steak. Puddings are good too, have had the Creme brûlée and the rice pudding. Big portions and good flavours.”

“I booked a private party for my wedding here. They happily accommodated 30 people, and we could have had up to 60. The appetizers they selected for us were all delicious and accommodated diet restrictions as well. Highly recommend for parties, meals, or a quick drink or coffee with some of the friendliest faces around!!”

The whole concept of cooking your own steak on a sizzling hot stone is genius — it’s interactive, fun, and the quality of the food is top-tier. The steaks were beautifully tender, and the sides and sauces complemented everything perfectly. The atmosphere is classy but relaxed, with that speakeasy, hidden-gem feel that makes it stand out. The cocktails were expertly made, and the staff were friendly. Lutsie and Haoran were especially attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. “Bart was an amazing server. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. The food was tasty flavored well and tender. I got the cod plate with kabocha and potato’s. “I recently visited Italb and it was great! The atmosphere was cozy. I tried the pasta and it was delicious. The pizza had a nice crispy crust and the toppings were tasty. For dessert, I had tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy some authentic Italian food! Also, I’d like to thank the staff for being so friendly and making sure everything was perfect for my birthday.☺️❤️”

“This was our second Christmas stay. 3 years ago Christmas Day was pretty chaotic but overall we enjoyed our stay so much that we were quite happy to go back. The room, the service, the staff, the restaurant was excellent. Christmas Day service from Buddy The Elf (Cosmin), Alessandro (Alex) and *all* the staff in the restaurant was superb. I rarely write reviews and am accustomed to moaning about lack of service these days so feel duty bound to say a really big thank you given that we were so well looked after by everyone at The Hotel du Vin Bristol City. “Came today with my family in a large group for the breakfast with santa experience! the children absolutely loved every minute including the adults. The atmosphere was christmassy, the staff was great and food was delicious! We will definitely be making this a new family tradition as it was so magical, santa and his elf helper were so warm and welcoming they really went above and beyond to cater for our family as large group (7 children & 10 adults) they were so patient and allowed us to take lots of lovely group family photos in our invidiual families and allowed us all in the room so all parents/grandparents were able to see the joy on the children's faces! thank you harvester for a fantastic family christmas experience!! ❤️❤️”

“We went in on a Saturday and it had already been a busy night but the service & food was brilliant. They don't have starters on the menu so we requested some Sides to be served as starters which they did. They were great & set us up ready for the mains. Pork belly bites were melt in the mouth, chicken bites with the gravy mayo was lovely and fresh & the Jalapeno poppers were banging! The burgers were superb! Dont your time adding any sauces to the burgers until you have tried them how they are served first! The flavours were amazing and it definitely didn't need any additional sauces. 5 start food & 5 start service! Looking forward to my next visit, maybe try out the steak specials”

“So I have been past so many times thinking s as about popping in and I’m so glad I did, the pizzas were exactly what we wanted, really nicely presented and soft drinks so can’t really comment on the full range but looks good, the man who served us was very kind allowing the dogs to sit with us and the price was very good so it’s a big thumbs up. “A very vintage traditional Italian family restaurant, love their food. The roof top area is also cool and relaxing. You must try the family pizza, the size of this pizza is unbelievable. But sorry to hear that they are going to closed down in January as they have to been force to move out Trye property after they have been there fire over 50 years.”
