“We had a lovely dinner last night at DNA Steak and Grill in Towcester. We were a table of four and everything was spot on — the food was delicious, especially the steaks, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service made it even better. Huge thanks to Elena, Zuza, Ella and Alys ❤️ — all of them were amazing, so friendly and attentive the whole evening. One of the best spots in town — we’ll definitely be back soon!”

“I have to thank a friend of mine for recommending me this place. I love these kind if places, being Spanish is like going back home but saving the flight tickets. It's strange no one is talking about the shop at the back, please have a look. We couldn't resist leaving without buying cheese, wine, and some other things you'll never find in UK supermarkets. Food was fantastic, and I really like Portuguese beer, pleasant experience. Nice small restaurant.”

“We have been looking for a good, local Caribbean food place for ages and just managed to find this place by chance. The curry goat and ackee and salt fish were so delicious, we will definitely be ordering from here again! The jerk chicken is also nice if you don't like spicy food, but I love my spice so particularly enjoyed the curry goat, which tastes authentic and has some nice heat to it. I would suggest a visit if you like tasty food served with a smile. Portion sizes are good too :-)”

“Came here tonight for the first time with my partner. Initially, the queue was long and we figured we’d be there for a good while. However, they were adequately staffed meaning the queue moved quickly. we ordered large chips, two jumbo sausage and curry sauce. It was superb! Chips were fresh and arguably some of the best chippy chips I’ve had. Sausage was also good. Curry sauce had a nice sweetness to it but I think the pot could have been a bit bigger. Will be returning again, thank you :).”

“Already busy at 6pm (although it was a Saturday so kind of to be expected) so there was already a nice atmosphere upon entry. No fuss in being directed to our table with a warm friendly greeting. The menu isn’t too extensive which is always a positive for me. Have enough choice but not bewildering so. The standout starter was the ribs. Great taste and just enough for a good portion but not too filling. The wings were ok but there are better out there. Steak time. We went for a 300 gram sirloin and the trio of steaks (small portion of fillet, sirloin and ribeye). The sirloin was tasty and cooked as ordered (rare) and the trio of steaks was bigger than expected and also cooked to perfection (medium rare). The sweet potato fries were very good as were the steak chips. The side order of mushrooms were the perfect accompaniment to our meal. We passed on dessert as we were already full. Very reasonable prices and the great staff just added to this as a recommendation from me. FYI there is limited parking on the high street so unless we missed the large carpark somewhere close it should be taken into account.”

The sides are inviting and well-balanced. The roasted potatoes look crisp and golden, while the mixed vegetables — broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots — bring color and a healthier counterpoint to the richness of the steak. They appear roasted rather than steamed, which gives them a more flavorful, caramelized finish. The sauce served in a small metal boat adds an elegant restaurant-style presentation. Its creamy texture hints at a peppercorn based sauce. A glass of beer in the background completes the meal perfectly.”

“Ate here whilst on a day out. Me and the wife had the steak burger. The little one had cheese burger sliders which came with a desert included. Im a burger fan and this one has been by far the best burger Ive had to date. The flavours were insane and the tomato and lettuce were good quality, not dripping in fat flimsy or mouldy etc. It all melted in the mouth. The kids sliders are value for money and my little one ate them up. Good alcohol range and soft drink range for kids. I will eat here again and try the steak next. Staff are attentive and welcoming. I gave a good tip as they were so helpful and the food hit the mark.”

“One of the best chipshops in Rushden, even northamptonshire. Every time I've gone here (once every two weeks on a Friday), I've had only good food and smiles when walking in. The staff are delightful and always welcome you with a smile. They'll ask if you want anything cooked such as fish or spam fritter (as they're cooked for order so they're very fresh). The chips are soft and fluffy and some days they're crispy and amazing! The portions are massive, even if you go for the small portion. The fish is crispy and soft and you get a large piece of cod, albeit a bit pricey (fish always is!) It's well worth it. The store is following social distancing and Corona virus guidelines, which is a good sign for an understanding and caring establishment. Overall, you're looking at around £3.50 for chips and a sausage or £5 for chips and fish. 5/5”

“What a great experience. A night out with the lads was not a disappointment. From the traditional Turkish food to the array of drinks on offer. Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”

“This was our first experience at Cromwell Cottage. We enjoyed everything about our time here. Our food was cooked perfectly for us - hot, fresh & the steaks to our preference. Staff were attentive, professional, friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Atmosphere was relaxed & happy. Myself & my husband were able to have a conversation without having to shout across the table to each other. We will definitely visit again in the future.”

“We visited the Coach House on a Saturday evening. After a long day, we wanted a good meal and a comfortable place to eat. The Coach House was absolutely perfect - the staff were very pleasant and helpful, and service was swift. The food was excellent, and the tables were very clean. This is everything that a pub should be - cosy, rustic and wholesome, with a lovely ambience. I would highly recommend this pub to others wanting a hearty meal and a wonderful experience.”

The service very nice and pleasant but the waitress seemed preoccupied. But so what, the food, "oow,..was to live for". Definitely recomend and definitely will be a repeat customer. “Cam here on a busy Saturday night. Although the restaurant was busy we got served very quickly and order food quickly. Our waitress was lovely. The food came out very quickly and tasted nice. My partner really liked the spaghetti carbonara. We had dessert, sticky toffee pudding and the Nutella doughnuts. Very nice and came out quick too. Would come back again.”

“I'm so pleased this place turned up on my Facebook feed. We decided to go tonight for dinner and we certainly didn't regret it. It's only a short drive from our house, a fifteen minute drive into the countryside is always nice. Lovely looking pub which was quite full in the bar, a good atmosphere. We were served our drinks by a very friendly lady and then we took our seats in the restaurant area. Served again by a very friendly and helpful young lady. We didn't wait long for our starters, which were presented and tasted fantastic. Our mains were just the same. Hardly any wait at all and the presentation was great. Everything was cooked very very well indeed, the portion sizes were generous but not over bearing and the tastes were sensational. We'll definitely be returning, the whole experience was exemplary.
