“Met with family to have a meal. The menu was very versatile and 90% available. Something for everyone. Ordering was a simple process, order and pay at the bar. Nice coffee too. Service was good. Staff friendly and polite. Our food was served in good time and was delicious. The place was clean and well maintained. At the time of our visit, it was quiet which was great for us to have a nice chat and relax after a long day travelling for a family member's funeral.”

“Lovely setting and really nice looking bar and restaurant. Carvary is excellent value and really tasty. A variety of options depending if you just want a small meal or you want to go all out on a massive meal with extra meat and additional items. Irrespective of the size of your meal everything is competitively priced. As with all carvarys you get unlimited veg. The other bonus is they do not hike up the prices behind the bar. Had a great visit and will be returning”

“Great priced food, tasted great..beware though sweet and sour chicken is not the balls usually bought, but was nice all the same...free crackers too ..will use more often. Update , unfortunately they now seem to be expensive, recently ordered spring rolls ( large) only got one, not two( there was a bag of small ones, I don't want, or like) After spending £40, you would expect some freebies(most chinese give prawn crackers) Overall the food is very good , but a free carton of chicken wings, doesn't cut it!! Sorry, I will try somewhere else, next time”

“I was recommended this place by a client at work and I was so glad to be told about this absolutely amazing place. The service was stellar from start to finish. I don't think I have had so many people attend to just one table before. Anything we asked for was dealt with so promptly and politely I was so impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music playing whilst we ate was apt. Our food was flawless through three courses. As I chef I find it very hard to get food up to a certain standard but this was an exception. I can't recommend this place enough and will be returning asap. The arancini was so good, seasoned perfectly and looked beautiful. My beef ragu was stunning.. a depth of flavour that I thoroughly enjoyed. My partners lasagne was amazing and not a scrap was left by either of us. I ordered lemon tart which came with a shot of lemon cello and it was to die for and looked so pretty. My partner polished her brownie in record time. The bill was just under a hundred pounds which was good considering we had multiple drinks. Bravo for being so on point to all the staff and owner. We will be back asap..thanks so much we are truly happy customers.”

The gentlemen I spoke to was friendly and inviting, our dog also was allowed in. The food looked lovely and tasted great! the gin cocktail I had was great. The local atmosphere was great. “Amazing food! I ordered a mixed grill and chicken tikka with pilau rice. I asked what was in the mixed grill and was told they have sheesh. I informed the person on the phone I wasn’t a fan of sheesh so they offered and gave me extra chicken instead of the sheesh. How kind I really appreciate it. The best mixed grill I’ve had. Absolutely amazing and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again! They also delivered very quickly and food was a 10/10. Thank you and we’ll be back.”

“Had dinner in Buffalo mid-week. We didn’t have a reservation. We got a table straight away. The restaurant was busy. Our server, Shah was very helpful and explore menu and suggested some dishes to meet our requirements. The menu had a great selection of dishes. We especially enjoyed the spinach and feta in filo pastry and the prawns. For the main the braised lamb shank and the moussaka were enjoyed. Mehmet was very helpful and checked in with us throughout the meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. This is an excellent restaurant with good value for money and friendly staff. Highly recommended.”

“We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended!”

“Went to Cibo on Newnham Street many times before and always had amazing service and subs so was a bit sad when it closed. Went to the new location a few weeks ago and although the vibe is different the subs are still incredible. The food was delicious, massive portions and always the best quality ingredients are used. The staff are always smiley and friendly so will be going back again.”
