   Ordered food from for the first time. The staff were very friendly. Although it was a takeaway there was a good atmosphere inside. Like most Turkish restaurants it was a bit pricey. However, it was cooked well and tasted delicious. My only criticism would be the portion of chips and rice was small. Nevertheless, I would go again and would highly recommend it.

   Our son and daughter in law took us there at the end of a busy weekend at a convention. It was easy to book on line. When we arrived we were met at the door by a very charming lady. She was both friendly and welcoming and made us feel at ease. The food was amazing, well presented and the portions were a good size. The food was fresh and good value for money although it was a treat from them. I would highly recommend and would definitely go there again. We are able to dine in peace and had a wonderful time together. I wish the proprietor and his staff all the best for the future.

   I visited Niwan Restaurant for my birthday and ordered the Gold Platter for 2 people, clearly priced at £70 on the menu. The food was delicious and generous, and the staff were very friendly — I truly appreciated that part of the experience. However, we were charged £140 (2 x £70), even though we received only one platter and were just 2 adults with 2 children (one being a baby). We had to call and send proof (receipt and menu screenshot), after which we were told to come back for a £70 refund. While I’m thankful the issue was resolved, I left with a bitter feeling that this wasn’t just a simple mistake, but rather an attempt to overcharge us — which was very disappointing on a special day. I recommend the food, but I strongly advise customers to double-check their bill before paying.

   The cold Meze was low tier and mixed grill was lacking shish especially for 26£ per person. Older waiter was moody and not very welcoming but kitchen staff seemed lovely.

   We went here for Christmas dinner and all we can say is wow! We were fed like kings and queens! Amazing customer service and the best food we have ever had in our lives!! We walked away with very full belly’s that’s for sure! We will definitely be returning next Christmas …. If you will have us ☺️❤️

   4 of us were there yesterday. We had the £25pp set menu. Bottles of house Pino were £18. Food was lovely & plenty of it! We took a big doggy bag of meat with us. Staff v friendly. Would go there again if ever in Wellingborough.
