The Palmichael is such a gem of a restaurant. I’ve been on a few occasions, and I’m never disappointed. The food is fantastic, for my main I had lamb with shallot puree and a red wine jus. The lamb was tender and the sweetness of the shallots paired so well with the richness and depth of the jus. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, and the service is good. It will cost around £50-£60 per person for three courses, but it’s worth it if it’s within your budget.

Dining at Palmichael Restaurant is an experience that delights every refined palate. From the moment you enter, the tranquil lighting and elegant atmosphere set the tone for an evening of sophistication and quiet indulgence. The surroundings are tastefully understated, allowing the beauty of the Italian-inspired interior to shine through. Every element — from the carefully chosen décor to the minimalist yet distinctive design details — reflects impeccable taste without ever feeling excessive. Guests arrive dressed smartly, naturally mirroring the graceful ambiance that the space inspires. The service is equally refined. The waitstaff are impeccably presentable, their manners polished and professional, and the menus are presented with care and style. Each dish is a true work of culinary art, showcasing the chef’s expertise and creativity. The chef’s specials are particularly noteworthy — unique combinations that fully deserve to bear the chef’s name. Presentation is exquisite, each plate arranged with precision and flair. We sampled several dishes, and every one of them was equally delicious and perfectly balanced — the spices enhancing, never overpowering, the natural flavors of the ingredients. Palmichael is a restaurant for those who appreciate artistry in cuisine, grace in service, and an ambiance that speaks of good taste. A place to bring someone discerning — and be proud to do so.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at The Palmichael, and everything from start to finish was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the food was surprisingly amazing, every dish exceeded our expectations. What made the night even more special was the beautiful surprise dessert plate the team prepared for our anniversary — such a thoughtful gesture that truly made us feel celebrated. Thank you to the entire team for making our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I was recommended this place by a client at work and I was so glad to be told about this absolutely amazing place. The service was stellar from start to finish. I don't think I have had so many people attend to just one table before. Anything we asked for was dealt with so promptly and politely I was so impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music playing whilst we ate was apt. Our food was flawless through three courses. As I chef I find it very hard to get food up to a certain standard but this was an exception. I can't recommend this place enough and will be returning asap. The arancini was so good, seasoned perfectly and looked beautiful. My beef ragu was stunning.. a depth of flavour that I thoroughly enjoyed. My partners lasagne was amazing and not a scrap was left by either of us. I ordered lemon tart which came with a shot of lemon cello and it was to die for and looked so pretty. My partner polished her brownie in record time. The bill was just under a hundred pounds which was good considering we had multiple drinks. Bravo for being so on point to all the staff and owner. We will be back asap..thanks so much we are truly happy customers.

Went for a birthday meal and they made a special effort with signing the plate. Busy place but lovely food. Just felt a bit rushed at the end to pay our bill and get out even though it wasn't late

Fantastic Italian restaurant. We ate outside as we felt we weren't properly dressed as the restaurant has high standards. The waitressing staff were very highly trained even serving with white gloves on. We chose the seafood platter and Calamari anti pasta starters which were lovely. 10/10 Staff, food location and price.

10/10 Will be back again. Lovely local italiano cusine. First course, Mussels in a delicious garlic white wine sauce (classic). Second course, seafood linguine with hints of chilli. Great service, lovely atmosphere. Even my daughter loved her pasta carbonara, I tried some and it had a lovely taste. Love it, #supportlocal everyone. There's too many chains putting out mediocre food and getting away with it.
