The food was exceptional. Well worth the price unlike many places these days. The garlic prawns and beef wellington were standouts. We will be back. Proper old school no frills just great food and such a lovely atmosphere

Very nice family dinner. First time I've been in since some company meals years ago. All 4 of the mains went down a treat. My duck and sweet potato mash was delicious. My wife loved her halibut and my parents finished of their sea bass and ginger chicken & rice. Staff were attentive and hospitable.
Been trying to get booked in here for a few weeks. Glad we persevered, great food ,generous portions and for the quality the pricing is very reasonable. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and it's always a great touch to be able to talk to the owner and be thanked for your custom. Will be back for birthdays and anniversaries and spread the word.
Really enjoyed it. Service was friendly, the food was very taste and well cooked and came with a generous portion of sides. Furthermore I love places that still serve filter coffee rather than diluted espresso if you just want a black coffee

Can’t believe I’ve been here for so long and never been here. The owners are incredibly nice and 100% what I’d expect of restaurateurs. They’ve treated us to wines of our country and were incredibly hospitable.
My friends treated us to Bridge Street Bistro for an early birthday dinner for my husband. They had a special three course dinner menu option that night that I selected. I chose the prawn salad starter, a very juicy stuffed chicken dish and bread pudding for dessert. My husband had the beef Wellington. It was tender and savory and he enjoyed every bite. Our friends ordered the prawns and fried mushrooms for starters and we all shared. They both had a steak and potatoes for their main course. A bottle of wine later, the conversation was flowing and this dinner was the perfect start to my husband's special day. Bridge Street Bistro has really good food and is a great place to celebrate a special event.
