“Had breakfast at Bill’s and it was fantastic! I had the shakshuka, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Really warming, perfectly spiced, and so full of flavour. The flatbread on the side was amazing too. My husband ordered a side of hash browns, and the portion was huge! “Great local chippy, serving an extra portion of care! Stopped here on Friday evening, as we had visitors from abroad who wanted the fish and chip experience and we needed a gluten free option. Deb’s fish bar did not disappoint! Gluten free cod and haddock tasted almost exactly the same as the regular gluten ones. When ordering and needing a little extra advice and help service went above and beyond, even though it was during the Friday evening rush. Also saved us money as we would have massively over ordered. Portions were enormous. Personally, I preferred the cod over the haddock as the haddock still had the skin on, but that is 100% personal preference.”

The Highlights The Food: The price included a full 3-course meal. The portions were generous, and the quality was surprisingly good considering the ticket price. The Entertainment: After dinner, there was a disco that kept the energy high all night. The music selection was great and perfect for seeing in the New Year. Value: Brilliant. In an era where many venues charge triple digits for New Year's Eve, getting a meal and a full night of entertainment for £10 is unheard of. “One of the best chipshops in Rushden, even northamptonshire. Every time I've gone here (once every two weeks on a Friday), I've had only good food and smiles when walking in. The staff are delightful and always welcome you with a smile. They'll ask if you want anything cooked such as fish or spam fritter (as they're cooked for order so they're very fresh). The chips are soft and fluffy and some days they're crispy and amazing! The portions are massive, even if you go for the small portion. The fish is crispy and soft and you get a large piece of cod, albeit a bit pricey (fish always is!) It's well worth it. The store is following social distancing and Corona virus guidelines, which is a good sign for an understanding and caring establishment. Overall, you're looking at around £3.50 for chips and a sausage or £5 for chips and fish. 5/5”
