Food came out quickly and looked great. Place was very clean considering it was really busy, so the experience felt a bit rushed and impersonal, and it took a while to get a waiter when we needed one. Still a good meal overall though, would go again at a less busy time.
Wagamama at Rushden Lakes is a brilliant choice for a relaxed Japanese dining experience, and our recent Saturday night visit was an especially great experience which has made me want to visit more often. We walked in without a booking and were seated within two minutes, which was impressive considering how busy the restaurant looked. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived. At first we were seated near the front of the restaurant where it felt a cold due to the door being opened often, but when we asked to move, they offered us a booth with no issues at all. It didnβt feel awkward and the way they handled it showed how helpful and accommodating the team are. The food itself was excellent. I ordered the grilled chicken ramen, which was flavourful, filling, and very fairly priced at Β£14.50. I also know the chicken katsu curry is a popular favourite and is priced the same, which makes both dishes great value. Our meals arrived in around 10 minutes which I thought was fast given the quality and freshness of the food. The restaurant has a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Our booth was comfortable, and although some tables are shared between multiple parties, the layout still gives everyone plenty of space. The interior is modern, the vibe is calm, and the toilets were clean and well kept. I also liked that you can see your food being cooked (the kitchen is located in view of the seating area). Overall, Wagamama at Rushden Lakes delivered great food, fast service, friendly staff, and a pleasant environment. I highly recommend it and would definitely visit again.
What a great night! All the staff were amazing and smiling which is what we all like to see! The chefs amazing, super quick and the food always tasting delicious! Thank you for a great night and especially for making us feel welcome!
Come here with the family during the mid term break. The place was relatively quiet however the queue went out for some reason the six servers were not able to sit people on time. We then proceeded to spend the next 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. When are orders finally arrived the children's meal was missing and we had practically finished our meals by the time it arrived. Gratefully the server removed the cost of the children's meal from the bill.
Came on a Sunday late afternoon. We were able to get a table right away. There is also plenty of seating outside (weather dependant).Service was pretty good...staff friendly and welcome. Food came out in good time and was nicely done. Would come again!
The food is incredible. We queued for a short while but was worth the wait. Staff are friendly and there's such a great buzz about the place. Will definitely be back!
