“We sat down for our girls bottomless brunch and was so lucky to have Jack as our host. Immediately greeted us with prosecco and recommendations of what to have for food. Made our girls night even better and have booked another one because of him, thank you Jack (you icon).”

“Went to Wagamama in Notts today with my friend for lunch. Everything was top notch. The food was delicious. I had the fried greens, ebi katsu, and chicken katsu curry, my friend had the duck gyoza and prawn curry. We had a beer and a cocktail. The food arrived hot and fresh, yummy! Thankyou chefs. The highlight of our stay were the staff. We were greeted by the hostess and taken to our table of choice, served by another friendly young chap, but there's one staff memeber who stood out above all others, anywhere I've ever been to and thats a young lady named Sophie. Studying at university who works to earn her spending money. She was a delight, a credit to Wagamama. She was so kind and friendly, so ambitious and I see a great life ahead for her. I think anything she does, she will do it well. Thanks for the wonderful service Sophie, you were the shining light above all others today, and made our rare luncheon really special. “Came here for my birthday and it was brilliant.. one person on our table has a severe allergy to nuts, and the staff were amazing. They called her before hand to ensure she had a meal that was “safe”. We also had a gluten free and vegetarian in our party and the staff where happy to stand and to though the menu with us. Thought out the night they kept coming to check on us, answering questioned we had regarding food and drink. - Food was lovely and the music was right up our street. Lillian is an asset to bistro live. Although she was working she just matched the vibe of our table, even coming over at the end of her shift to say good bye and told me to enjoy my night…”

“Aside from the fact that all the meals I had were delicious the service was really good. The food was served on time and no delay, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Another thing that stood out for me was the steak; I always order a medium rare when having steak because well-done is always too dry. But my partner loves well-done so he had that and the steak was very juicy; it was well-done but I could still taste the juiciness of the meat. I will visit again to try the brunch menu.”

And out-of-the-world price! I didn’t even realise I came here on opening day, and it’s all decked out, the staff revved up and smiling. “Excellent pub with great value meals. The beer choice is average, but the quality of what they serve is great. The staff are very friendly and the ambience is very nice and relaxing. Update: Visited again when in the area 9 months later and the food price and quality are still excellent (especially with the daily offers). Drink choice hasn't altered so still the basic corporate branded beers and ciders on the bar and in the fridges, good enough to wash your food down with though.”
