I had an absolutely wonderful evening here, the ambience was warm, elegant, and truly enchanting. The food was delicious, full of rich flavors that made every bite mouthwatering. The calm, smooth music added the perfect touch, making the whole experience incredibly relaxing. A beautiful place I’d happily visit again. Serving staff and manager has great sense of hospitality. Worth giving a try to experience it.

Splendid delicious food, friendly staff, number one indian cuisine in whole of Nottingham, very nice ambience too.

Very disappointed in terms of quality, taste and service. The decor was 10/10, the food was extremely average but the only thing stood out for us was the lamb galouti kebabs, the naan and curry were below average, the pilau rice was worse, could only taste turmeric and nothing else, while the food staff was good, the drink waitress needs to work on service at a fine dine restaurant.

I would really recommend Mogal E Azam if anyone looking for nice Indian food around the city centre. Food and ambiance just top notch. Nicest service from the stuffs. A big thumbs up to Mogal E Azam.

Visited Sunday evening, didn't book, quick service, nice food and drinks, decent clear pricing. Only little grip was waiting staff hover watching, felt pressure to eat quick as was late service

The food served literally tasted rotten.. Upon telling them the waiter said you should have told me before serving it.. Well how would we know before tasting? When we asked them to change the curry for us, the waiter made a rude face (I felt like a bother & burden that evening honestly - because of the reactions).. When curry was changed, the meal actually tasted a completely new and nice one. I'm paying for my meal and it's not cheap, so why will I have rotten curry? It stinked and tasted of onion gone bad! It was seriously a disaster new year dinner.. Not just the meal, but more of the service! They don't treat you well.. It wasn't just with us.. Even with other tables that evening! I genuinely hope they get training for table serving manners and how to deal with critics and grow! If you can't take critics you can't improve and in definitely not having rotten food!

Quite easily the best place to go to, my friend recommended it saying that you couldn't get curry anywhere else as they served the best and he was right. Very efficient service from the waiters, owner came to the table midway and asked us how it was. Lots of famous faces on the walls who had been served there over the past few decades. I loved the whole experience and will definitely go back next time I come to Nottingham

Having lots of incredible Indian restaurant choices in Nottingham, this is my favourite. The hosted service is fantastic, the food is incredible, cold Cobra beer a must, great value, and the staff couldn't be more helpful to navigate the many options on the menu. Service is fast, friendly, and great for small or large groups. We went again last night and every single person in our group of 8 loved it! Prepare to be fully satisfied and fully stuffed when leaving - you might benefit from a walk through the city after you eat!

Many of their dishes do not taste "Authentic Indian" , it is more of a Indian British blend. Atmosphere is decent. There is no parking available and I felt bit pricey for the quantity served.

Loved this place. Food's really good. Prices are affordable. Staff can learn to be a bit friendly. Definitely going to visit again. Quantities are good as well.
