   Finally found a Chinese that doesn’t taste like it’s been sat under a heat lamp. Ordered the crispy chilli beef and special fried rice and both were spot on, proper flavour, not greasy, and the beef actually stayed crispy even after delivery. They always chuck in loads of veg and the portions are enough for leftovers the next day. Delivery guy is polite too, never just throws the bag at you and run. Pearl House has won me over. Shop needs a good renovation but definitely my new favourite!

   Worst Chinese I've had in a long time and don't order often due to the prices, chinese chicken curry was definitely not a curry! Looked like water milk with boiled chicken! Sweet and sour sauce was like water, Cantonese shredded beef, where was the beef? And the sauce was like tar, can't follow notes on orders it took nearly 2 hours to arrive and when it did it was practically cold, what could be eaten was flavourless and over cooked, definitely won't be ordering again all in all over priced and a complete shambles

   Food came very very quickly, but it was awful the lemon chicken was soggy and couldn't eat it. The beef in black pepper was flavourless and the beef was so fatty. The chicken in sweet and sour sauce was just about passable. The crispy beef was ok had far better. The rice was cold and looked like it had been friend a thousand times. Such a bad experience for how much it cost. I used to use pearl house on a weekly basis then moved house and then moved back into the catchment and by god its changed. Never again.

   I was in the area for office work and decided to order from this takeaway — the food turned out really good! The portion size was just right and filling. Really glad to find tasty Halal food around here. I’ll definitely be ordering again

   I ordered the Chicken in King Pau sauce and really enjoyed it. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The flavors were spot on, and it’s great to have such tasty Halal food available in the area. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

   Good food when it arrives. Horrendous accuracy on delivery times. 1.5hrs first time. Chalked it down to being a Saturday. Ordered this evening, a Tuesday and now we are at 2hrs and still no food. Real shame.

   Absolutely awful service! We ordered our food and was advised would be at ours by latest 9 o clock after ordering 7.30 at 9.30 we were still waiting! Called the restaurant to be told another 3 mins! What do we have to wait longer! Was offered free food instead but by this time we don't want to wait any longer to eat! Said to just cancel the order! Will never order from you again! Complete disappointment!!

   Terrible and over cooked and chewy chicken. Chicken with black bean sauce and oyster veg were both awful! Looks like the owner has taken over because it used to be my favourite usual, such a same. My review prior to 2 years compare. (I always get take out from this Chinese. Have tried loads of others in Nottingham but they all fall short compared to this.) Do not get this ever again!

   This Chinese used to be amazing. When I first moved to nottingham last year we used to order from here all the time. We hadn’t got it in a while (3 months roughly) so thought we would get it tonight. When the food arrived it instantly looked completely different despite us ordering our usual. It all tasted horrible! I was so disappointed. Noddles overcooked and no flavour. Crispy beef had no flavour and was watery. Ribs were 90% fat and soagy/ again no flavour. Won’t be using again. I think new owners have taken over, I would avoid now and would no longer recommend to friends
