   Made a group prebooking to here, and was not over impressed. The menu was quite good with a variety of choices. However this was an early lunch and prebooked, so you would expext it to be ready for service. The toilets were strewn with sheets of toilet paper and urine on the seats. There was only one waiter on, who was rushed off his feet. He was very efficient with our drinks order and meals, a credit to Bar and Block. The meals were ok, steaks were cooked well, but it was let down by over cooked onion rings and the fries were left too long in the friers so held a lot of grease. Overall Bar and Block was lacking as a steak house venue. Or at least on this occasion

   Took my Daughter out for a meal for her 30th Birthday, so enjoyable, there was an unrushed atmosphere while we were there. It was a Monday early evening so was not busy, which me and my Daughter like, not sure how it would be on a busy day/time. The staff were amazing, very friendly and you can choose the amount of tip you want to give at payment, it's not added onto the bill. The food was lovely, steaks can be varied in there chewiness but these were wonderfully cooked and the sides were also delicious, we even had room for pudding. I gave my Daughter a choice of where she wanted to go for her meal, she chose here as we'd never been before but we will absolutely be revisiting in the future.

   This place has become a regular for me and my partner, amazing food. The steak is always nice and I love that you can customise your sides. I always have Steak, garlic mushrooms and salad, as not to fussed about chips. The beer battered onions rings are delicious too. The cheesecake was tasty usually comes with a Berry sauce but I prefer without. Would recommend, then cocktails are really good too.

   Very overpriced average food. It’s attached to the premier inn and to be honest it’s not much different to the Beefeater pubs you get next to the hotels. My steak was cooked as I wanted it but it was spoiled slightly by a burnt taste from the grill. The chips are not beef dripping chips either they’re just thick cut chips. £2 for a small pot of Peppercorn sauce which had a weird jelly like consistency. It’s not worth it for the money I’m afraid

   The food was genuinely lovely though some might say its a little pricey. The toilets are unfortunately quite small and I found myself hunched over to try to get to the sink and hand dryer (though i am 6 foot 5 so that could just be a me problem). the smell of the food was amazing in stark contrast to the waiters armpits. but genuinely would come back because the food was excellent.

   Alan and Chloe gave exceptional service! We were given prior notice to how the food was best served. Their attentiveness to someone's birthday was the best, adding a cute happy birthday banner on the table and a lit candle to his dessert. Edwin sends his gratitudes over. Thank you for going above and beyond, it's the little things that mean a lot. :) (My seabass was also cooked to perfection, so thank you to the chef too!)

   Amazing beautiful restaurant, very cozy and comfortable. The staff is very nice and welcoming, I been honestly impressed of them, also I never saw somebody to be so grateful for the tip. The food was amazing, unfortunately I didn't take a picture with the starters, but salt and peper squid with garlic and fresh chilly was fantastic, I think that was the best that I ever had. The steak is good, juicy, perfectly cooked. We been here few times and we will continue to come back.

   We went for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the 12oz sirloin and the 12oz spiral cut sirloin. They were both very delicious and cooked exactly as we ordered. The staff were very welcoming and attentive all night. Reasonable priced for a steakhouse. I would definitely be coming back
