“Our favourite Chinese take away, in the world. :-) Been going there for over 20 year's never had a bad meal once. Family run business ,Charlie remembers all their customer's. This year though they had a change of chef, oh oh! Sounds worrying ? Nope they have made the best even better ! Always busy not the fastest but the best is always worth the wait we always say. They don't do deliveries which is a plus as you get the food at its very best when you leave and not half an hour later from a driver who gets lost getting to you. Alway liked their Chicken pineapple. But with their new chef love it 10 out of 10 guys 5 star cya soon :-)”

“First visit here and absolutely blown away by the service and food. We stopped here with a wee dog for lunch and the waiter from start to finish could not have been nicer. The service he delivered was perfect and even brought some water, biscuits and a sausage for our dog was so kind. We went for some sandwiches and drinks and loved them both. Their club sandwich was packed with filling and flavour and came with fries. My friend had the pesto sandwich which looked equally delicious and such a big portion. Both hot drinks were divine and all topped off with a chilled, friendly atmosphere. It was the little touches that makes this place stand out from the high standard of service for both us and the dog to even bringing out some complementary croissants with our coffees and a fancy touch like the dry ice that created a fog over the table. Honestly, if you’re down at the beach and wondering where to eat, head here. They have good menus from like snacks such as soup, sandwiches, breakfasts, waffles and pancakes to more main meals like burgers and pasta. There is something for everyone’s taste or dietary restriction. Next time we want to sit indoors to be served by the robotic cat. Can’t wait to go back and our whole lunch for big portions and drinks came to just over £20 which was exceptional value.”

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, but it was Zoltam’s professionalism and genuine attentiveness that elevated the entire visit. Zoltan balanced friendliness with efficiency perfectly. He greeted us with a warm smile, guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations, and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the dishes. His suggestions were spot-on — especially when it came to flavour pairings and spice levels — and it was clear he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal to the fullest. Throughout the evening, Zoltam checked in at exactly the right moments: never intrusive, always considerate. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, whether it was topping up drinks, providing extra sauces, or ensuring dietary preferences were accommodated flawlessly. His timing and attention to detail were impeccable. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented, but Zoltam’s outstanding service turned a great meal into a fantastic experience. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work and creates such a positive, relaxed, and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. “Stopped by Cloggys for lunch before heading to Aberdeen airport, it is an absolute gem of a spot! The menu is expansive- there is something for everyone, the staff are all unbelievably friendly, and the owners Jash and Alex certainly make you feel at home! I had a rather large lunch (the burger and the mac n cheese are excellent on their own), but being greedy I decided to combine the two! 10/10 would recommend. Lucky to those who work in the area and can be a regular at Cloggys, to all others just 'passing through' I definitely recommend coming by to fill your boots!”

“We visited last Tuesday for lunch, and what a brilliant experience we had, 5/5 all the way. One of us was gluten free and the manager Robin took such good care of us. This is truly the way hospitality should be done, great front of house staff and the chefs were great too. Food outstanding and good portion size, chicken juicy and tender just the way it's supposed to be. The salad bar was well stocked. Service was quick despite the place being busy. You really couldn't ask for any more from a restaurant, amazing service in a lovely location. We'll certainly be back!!”

“I was visiting Scania across the rd from this van so I took the opportunity to visit and I purchased a large lamb donner kebab. The meat was freshly cut and there was plenty of salad and sauce. Even found a homemade tomato sauce inside with a fantastic little kick, yum! Also can’t recommend their spicy curry’s more, tasting the fresh ingredients used every time keeps me loyal. “Only Eastern-Europeans can truly understand the warmth you get from entering a restaurant that is decorated and kept the way Goulash is. We could not wait for having a proper beef goulash and loved what we received. We followed that with a selection of Hungarian cakes and to complete our experience, we were invited to the basement shop offering eastern-european products, of which many were Czech, so we happily made a little shopping of our most favourite and missed treats. Welcoming and friendly service from the lovely owners. Thank you for the dining experience that felt like home.”

The food is both high in quality and generous in quantity, the atmosphere is cozy and tranquil, and the service from the manager and team is exceptional. “What a cracking wee place!!! Awesome food, fab service just lacking atmosphere a bit. Seated on time, full menu explained to us along with the specials but we had decided before we got there!!! Only complaint was the type of burger bun, the lid pretty much disintegrated when we put into it, meaning that the filling was allmlvet the place and not so much a burger anymore. We'll be back for sure!!!”

“If I could give more than five stars I would. The food: fresh, flavourful, speedy and very generous. If share pictures but we were too greedy. Atmosphere: you know a.place is good when it's busy on a Wednesday! The staff: we were met with such a warm welcome and that simple word is really how I would summarise our whole night. We had an absolutely lovely waiter named Hammad who just made our whole evening. We don't tend to venture out much due to nerves and being homebodies but this kind and sweet gentleman has made sure we come back. He gave us a beautiful complimentry tea at the end of our meal and stood talking to us for a few moments. You could really tell he loves his job and the team he works with and it shows!
