“I have been here before a takeaway. I find the food good quality, tasty and portion sizes are good. I was served quickly even though it was busy, friendly staff and service. Price was also good”
“Had a great stay here on our way back from Scotland. Rooms were large, clean and just outside the city centre so the traffic was light and quiet.”
“Came in just myself and enjoyed my time. The place was clean and the staff were always making sure to clear/reset tables quickly. Staff were friendly and joked with the guests. I had a hot chocolate and a traybake and it’s clear they are made freshly. I would recommend this place to anyone who was visiting both Aberdeen and the beachfront”
“Great festive menu and good value for money. Portions were large! I had the festive burger with pulled pork it was divine. Theres lots of seating though id reccomend booking as can get busy!. “This is the first time we have been to Vovem since their re-opening recently. Their team is solid, from host to bar to service, we had a wonderful experience. Servers are knowledgeable and well-spoken. We were sat near the kitchen which was nice to observe, but perhaps a little loud due to traffic of servers walking by, that did not affect the experience. Food was good and well-priced.”
“Been here a number of times of the past couple of years and never been disappointed. The menu has something for everyone, with good hearty meals. Service has always been super, with friendly attentive staff.”
“Lovely place to watch football with beer. Very kind staffs and a number of large screens. There are pool table, darts, and some playing machines. One thing you might need to keep in your mind - the kitchen’s last order for foods is 7:45pm, so be there earlier than that if you would like to bite some chips.”

“In the heart of Aberdeen lies a hidden gem that tantalizes the taste buds and ignites the senses – Dyce Tandoori. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the aromatic embrace of spices and the warm hospitality that defines this halal Indian restaurant. My journey at Dyce Tandoori was a love affair with flavor, where each dish felt like a symphony orchestrated by skilled hands. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of traditional Indian delicacies, from fragrant biryanis to succulent kebabs, each dish crafted with precision and passion. The Chicken Tikka Masala, a staple of Indian cuisine, transcended expectations with its velvety texture and harmonious blend of spices. Paired with fluffy naan bread, it was a match made in culinary heaven. However, it was the Lamb Rogan Josh that stole my heart. Tender chunks of lamb bathed in a rich, aromatic gravy that lingered on the palate long after the last bite. It was a culinary masterpiece that left me yearning for more. But it's not just the food that makes Dyce Tandoori special; it's the ambiance and hospitality that elevate the dining experience. The staff exude warmth and attentiveness, ensuring every guest feels like royalty from the moment they walk in. In conclusion, Dyce Tandoori is more than just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Indian cuisine and a testament to the artistry of its chefs. Whether you're a connoisseur of curry or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Dyce Tandoori is sure to captivate your heart and palate alike.”

“The highlight of our trip to Scotland was organizing a traditional Scottish dinner at Blairs Restaurant in Ardoe House. Since it was a special occasion, they helped us arrange for a Scottish bagpiper, and the gentlemen in our group rented kilts to match the atmosphere. Off the menu, they prepared a refined version of haggis, neeps and tatties just for us, and I had a local Angus beef steak as my main course, followed by a delicious sticky toffee pudding. Many thanks to Kerry and the events team for helping us organise everything, and to the kitchen staff for delighting us with their dishes.”
