“What a cracking wee place!!! Awesome food, fab service just lacking atmosphere a bit. Seated on time, full menu explained to us along with the specials but we had decided before we got there!!! Only complaint was the type of burger bun, the lid pretty much disintegrated when we put into it, meaning that the filling was allmlvet the place and not so much a burger anymore. We'll be back for sure!!!”

The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were super attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to see a bit more variety in the Indian dishes and starters. Overall, a fabulous experience that I'll be returning for.”

He greeted us with a warm smile, guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations, and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the dishes. His suggestions were spot-on — especially when it came to flavour pairings and spice levels — and it was clear he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal to the fullest. Throughout the evening, Zoltam checked in at exactly the right moments: never intrusive, always considerate. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, whether it was topping up drinks, providing extra sauces, or ensuring dietary preferences were accommodated flawlessly. His timing and attention to detail were impeccable. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented, but Zoltam’s outstanding service turned a great meal into a fantastic experience. “Absolutely incredible! Wild Ginger is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Aberdeen. The food is utterly delicious, every single dish I’ve tried has been full of flavour and beautifully presented. The Chilli Broccoli is honestly one of the best appetisers I’ve ever had (and that’s coming from a meat eater!). The venue itself is spotless, the décor is elegant and inviting, and the staff are genuinely lovely. The owner and manager truly go above and beyond for their customers, making every visit a memorable one. It’s a real shining gem in Aberdeen for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine. Big shoutout to their Mango Lassis and Peshwari Naan too , they’re absolutely perfect. And don't get me started on their incredible butter chicken curry... wow! Couldn’t recommend Wild Ginger enough!”

“I almost did not end up going to this place because of some of the bad reviews, but I'm so glad I ended up going. We had the Space - 6 course tasting menu, and by course 4, I was FULL! The menu was absolutely delicious and interesting to say the least, and I can't believe the price for this experience. All 4 of us enjoyed it and I can't wait to go back to try another menu. It was lovely, and the staff were great too.”

“My first time visiting here, I've always wanted to try a sushi belt type restaurant. I was definitely not disappointed. They've got a separate menu as well as the belt. I chose to eat from the belt as I liked the fact I can see what it is before I pick it up or not. The quality of food was phenomenal. Would definitely be returning again in the future.”

“The sushi arrived well packed and in good shape. They were nicely placed in the boxes. There was enough soy sauce and wasabi as well as ginger in the boxes. They were very tasty. I loved each and everyone one of them. I didn’t really love the sushi which had spicy mayo on them, I felt like the mayo was slightly overpowering but it was edible and I still enjoyed it. Sushi were filled well and had right proportions of all products in my opinion. The price is good.”

“Firstly. Service: phenomenal, was greeted instantly, kind and soft spoken server and our water jug was refilled when it wasn’t even empty. The way my jaw dropped at the level of sophistication this place has (even at almost 1am). Please come here is your unsure as I could not recommend more. Furthermore the actual drinks here are delicious and well thought out, plus, the mixologists know what they’re on about here. I referenced a drink from a video game and one of the bartenders knew what is was, told me and said he could make it if I wanted. 6 stars!!!!”

“Superb meal. Probably the best burger I've ever had, and a phenomenal range of beers, with abv ranging from 0.5% to an eye-popping 14.5%. My wife went for a selection of small plates and was equally impressed. The night we were in there was a DJ playing some great vinyl at a very conversation-friendly level. Staff were really chilled (in a good way) and genuinely friendly. The place feels like a real labour of love and hopefully it prospers for many years to come. If you appreciate good beer and/or soul food then we'd highly recommend it.”

“Chaophraya has become our go-to Thai restaurant, we absolutely love the Birmingham location, so when my friend turned 40, we decided to celebrate at the Aberdeen location. And honestly, it didn’t disappoint! From the booking to the actual evening, everything was smooth. Oil, the manager, was so kind and professional throughout. Jessica W, our server, was lovely and made sure the night ran perfectly. We pre-ordered from the set menu so we could try a bit of everything...the food was fresh, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The drinks and dessert were great too. They even surprised us with a few bottles of chardonnay and cake for the birthday girl, which was such a thoughtful touch. 10/10 would recommend Chaophraya if you're after a tasty, feel-good meal in a beautiful setting.
