“Absolutely stunning food, amazing how it comes out of such a tiny kitchen! We had the £38 menu and certainly weren't disappointed with lovely little tasters between courses. You must try the venison! Warm atmosphere with Japanese inspried decor, only space for 28 covers so booking far ahead is essential, Great attentive service.”

“Probably the best East-Asian food I've eaten at a restaurant. Excellent service and the food came promptly. The chef and owner explained different points on the menu in a very clear manner and gave great recommendations. The food itself was brilliant, the best part was that everything is halal since they don't use any pork and only use halal meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We were actually the only ones there at the time. I personally was a big fan of all the paintings hung up on the walls. The owner even explained the cultural significance behind some of them and what they meant. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going there and I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

“This was a gift and we chose the shorter lunch option as we didn't have experience of tasting menus. The service was very friendly and welcoming, not intimidating at all. All the menu was explained but not in excessive detail. I had the wine pairing which was well worth it with 2 English wines included. I think this was a good value menu for the amount of detail in the cooking and number of courses . The alcohol menu is also extensive and not over priced.”

“First time in Sheffield and of course first time here. Incredible food and perfect sized portions. It's very busy so would book in advance, the service is ok, could be slightly more efficient but it's a busy place. For myself being half deaf, I did find this a noisy environment, also due to it being super busy. So just a couple of things to bare in mind. But would highly recommend! Will return in the future”

“Had an incredible time at Beju. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, especially our server Nico who truly went above and beyond to make my friend’s birthday special. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was incredible. It’s so great to have such a lovely halal restaurant. I will definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend. Toilets were also decorated so beautifully and were very clean.”

“Food is fantastic and service is always prompt. There are a couple of improvements I would suggest - the chicken in butter chicken is often quite large strips which I would prefer to see cut up as they can end up a little bland. There have also been a couple of occasions where I haven't been given enough sauce for the naan I have ordered to accompany the curry. Jhinook always offers something extra in place of a free cobra which is something we always appreciate but we would like the opportunity to stick with the offer of free chips as opposed to other sides that seem to be being offered now (we gave a few of these to our dog and last order without them felt less of a family meal). But these are all minor suggestions as we really do love eating here.”

“Went to Konjö for their lunch menu. It is where jöro used to be which is well situated for parking. It isn't at Cutlery Works anymore. The lunch menu and Kombos are really great value for money. We each had the kombo 1 with fried chicken bao, Korean fried chicken, and a side. Sides we got were the fermented s&p potatoes and the duck hoisin hashbrown. We also tried the beef short rib croquette and the prawn crackers from the a la carte menu. The fried chicken bao, the korean fried chicken, and the short rib croquette were especially fantastic. Love the ranch and chilli crisp on the bao, the bao itself is homemade and so fresh which makes it super pillowy. It's really nice to try a place like this and I think it's important to understand that this is a bit experimental. When we gave feedback to the restaurant and kitchen on what we loved and what they could consider, it was a really lovely discussion. They made it really clear that they were looking for feedback and how they can make alterations and develop dishes. Like I said, it is a little experimental so it was really great to have that open dialogue. Would 100% recommend coming and, if you do, have a look at the independent bookseller nearby!”

“First of all, my visit to Wagamama was absolutely perfect, greeted by a lovely young lady named Alex, she spent time with me explaining what meal would suit my diet. She sat me down at a beautiful table right in the middle, which was again perfect. I was then introduced to another lovely young lady named Hayley who was amazing from start to finish. I had to nip outside and was worried, she might not think I was going to come back. She assured me everything would be fine. I returned at the absolute perfect time to be greeted with this big plate of food and a delicious cold drink. The girls, checked up on how my meal was, I told them both it was absolutely gorgeous.... Thank you both so much, if I'm ever back in Sheffield, I will 100% return to your restaurant. Thanks once again Alex & Hayley for making me feel so welcome.”

From the amazingly unique interior, the efficient and welcoming staff, the superb menu and good food it earned its great reputation. It may have taken years to get to Rossi's but it won't be long at all before I'm back. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.”

“Best Chinese Restaurant/ Takeaway in Rotherham. The whole family always used to eat here but we stopped when the place flooded years ago. We recently started ordering again earlier this year, and now it’s the only Chinese we will order from. The food is great, the service is quick, when you call to collect, your food is ready in 20 mins max and best of all it’s a very reasonable and affordable price and tastes great. Lots of other local Chinese takeaways are so expensive now, but Dynasty is so much more affordable and they do not compromise on the quality / taste of their food. We love the food here because it’s ’clean’ and tastes ‘fresh’, what I mean by that is that the food just has a ‘clean’ taste and feeling, it’s not greasy and you can tell the food and vegetables are fresh and that your order has been freshly prepared. We will be looking to make a restaurant reservation here soon to try dining in again! 10/10”

Portion sizes felt generous compared to the small handful of sushi places I've visited back in Belgium or the netherlands, and the staff all seemed to enjoy their work in the openly-visible kitchen. “Reserved a table for 5:30, rang at 5:30 to say we’d be late (due to traffic) & they were very understanding and completely fine with this. We arrived 15/20 minutes late and was taken straight to our table. Nathan was our server and was an absolute gem the whole time we were there. Was very accommodating and great with the kids too. Helped make my sons evening by bringing out cake and candle singing happy birthday. Food was delicious and kept on top of, nothing in short supply. As a whole, our evening was very enjoyable. “Absolutely loved this place, the food is amazing and at £21 a head at the weekend it’s amazing value too. Everything is cooked to order rather than being left on hot plates. The staff are really friendly too explaining what each dish is and also allowing changes to the dish to be made. £49 inc drinks each for a Saturday late lunch and all you can each was so good value. “Tried tonight as the new area we moved to allows for delivery. Got to say it was one of the nicest jal frezi's I've had in a long time. Delivery driver was extremely honest and came back when I gave him two 20s that were stuck together and I hadn't noticed so we are extremely grateful for that.
