“Amazing food. Was really authentic Korean and not the rubbish fusion you find in most places. The fried chicken and kimchi pancakes were both great, as was the Japchae! So refreshing to go to a reasonably priced restaurant where they don’t add service charge to the bill so you can tip happily. Will definitely be back”

“Clarks - wow! What an amazing find, worth a trip to Scarborough alone! From the understated exterior to the paired back interior, the focus is on service and food and Clarks delivers both in spades. We had the risotto “the best risotto i’ve ever had” and the Clarks Surf n Turf - an 8oz filet ( m rare ) and a half lobster. The steak was melt in the mouth delicious and the lobster - SO fresh, SO delicious. I think i could eat here every night and never become bored. An awesome place i implore everyone to visit. There’s also a free car park nearby in case Scarboros one Uber driver is busy. Essential 5*”

“My wife and I found ourselves hungry and tired from walking around the marina area which is a revelation to see it so much changed. (I am 81 tears old and was born in the city of Hull and know a lot about the place). We called in at the hotel to see if we could get a light lunch and were greeted warmly and our dog was welcomed as well. The meal was superb and the pizza was by far the best I had ever been served anywhere. The staff were helpful and the place was warm and clean. We were served by a guy called Adam. We will certainly return. Robin Taylor.”

“Could not fault the staff. The day before we stayed we had a phone call to ask if it was a special occasion, it was my daughters birthday, they put treats in my daughters room and gave her a card. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. This is the best Premier Inn we have stayed in and that is down to the staff.”

“My partner and I drove from Scunthorpe to try this place and we’re glad we did! I love Thai food and this place was fantastic, the atmosphere is so cosy and the staff were all very kind and the right level of attentive, the food was delicious and we’ll be coming back soon to try other things! We usually always order the same foods but looking at their specials we’re coming back specifically to ‘push the boat out’ a little because they sounded great! Price was more than reasonable for what we could tell was all fresh home-style cooking, even the sauces were homemade and fresh, and it doesn’t feel loud or cramped in their either. Would highly recommend to Thai food lovers and anyone wanting to try something new, you won’t regret it, do book if you want to go though as they were full for our whole meal! And it was a Tuesday, without a booking I doubt that you’ll get in on the busier days of the week”

“I didn’t expect that in addition to Birmingham and Manchester, there is a place called HULL, which has a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant where you can eat all kinds of Hong Kong tea restaurant food. I was very touched because the owner is from Hong Kong with all family members to run this restaurant. The decoration inside the store is very nice. It's really nice to take a car and visit it when you have time. Finally, where can you eat clay pot rice and egg waffles………..etc.”

“We stayed in the hotel whilst visiting a family member who was in hospital. The room was very clean and cosey and the staff were exceptional! They were always friendly and went out of their way to help us and solve any problems we had, including posting our spare car keys to us after we left them behind. The hotel is close to the town centre without being too close and parking is no problem.”

“Fabulous Chinese restaurant. One of the only authentic Chinese restaurants in Hull. The dim sum could be expanded, however the star of the show is the noodle soups. Their rich, umami profile, keeps you coming back for more. The décor is basic, however that is of no particular importance when one takes into regard the modest prices and wide variety of Chinese dishes.”

“Today weather was Georges with blue skies. After my shopping done fancied fish and chips. After reading good reviews decided to try and ordered lightly buttered fish snd chips which made my day . “Only called in for chicken n sweetcorn soup ..only £2.50 compared to other local shops charging nearly £4 . Was absolutely filled with chicken. Filled tub as well . Deffo going back to try meals. Again loads cheaper than other local shops . It's got great reviews so going to try soon . X”

“Arriving at the restaurant we were treated by staff straight away. Payment made and we was sent downstairs to the restaurant. There was no queue (easter Sunday 4pm) we were shown straight to our table, explained how the restaurant worked and left to our own devices. There was so much choice, from English food, Chinese, Indian, sushi, Italian. Lots of choice for dessert too. Once plates were finished with, they were taken by the staff immediately. Fresh cutlery was left at the table if you needed them again for another plate of food. There was no limit to the amount of times we could go up and get another plate of food (4 plates later, and feeling fat). Again no limit on dessert, and plenty of choice for everyone. There was no rush for us to leave the restaurant, and by 5, the restaurant was filling up. We were there around 2 hours in total. There was even a robotic machine that delivered drinks to tables. Overall we had a lovely time, and would return to the restaurant again.”
