Brilliant had a lovely Sunday lunch roast beef with all the trimmings we were so impressed we went back on Thursday and had hot rock's the ribeye steaks it was a fun experience if you have never done it try had a lovely meal would definitely go again
Wow wow I’ve never wrote a review but needed to ! The service from the moment we walked in was SO BAD , the steaks were cooked terribly and the sweet potato fries soft under cooked , we had 4 steaks and I think the so called chef hadn’t got a clue all 4 were cooked not for liking we had to send a medium well done back as there was blood everywhere, then came back burnt , I would not go back if you paid me .
Visited last night with our teens for their first experience. After starters were enjoyed, we was told the lava rock oven was faulty, so steaks were being cooked in the kitchen. On arrival to the table, the only hot piece of the meal was the potato choice, vegetables, steaks, and sauce, all beyond cold. We left after two hours, very disappointed, service wasn't great either. Be a while before we try taking them again.
Booked a table for 6:45 yesterday. Showed up and went to the bar to ask where we would be seated to which a girl behind the bar said to walk to the other end of the bar to find out. She then walked down the bar and took our name and took us to our seats and added that there was 2 items on the menu that were not on that night (understandable things run out of stock) Before we even sat down we was asked us if we wanted any drinks so we said could they give us a couple minutes to sit down and have a look at what we want. We ordered drinks and they came quickly and was then asked by a chap with dark hair if we were ready to order so we ordered food, however there was several items we asked if we could order but they we’re not available to order which was not said when we were told by the girl. After settling for something else we went to order our mains to which we were told that one of the only vegetarian options on the menu was out of stock. We said this wasn’t told to us to which the chap said “well you should’ve been told it was”. We wasn’t. He said we could order a mushroom risotto dish, which the person in our party ordering didn’t want as they are not a fan of mushrooms. They then had nothing else to offer (we even asked if there was any moussaka left but they’d thrown that out) we was then asked if we wanted to order or not. So we said no. After this they did not offer any apologies or speak to us so we left. It was very clear they did not care about having our custom and quite frankly I’m glad we took our business elsewhere in the town that was much more accommodating and seemed to care about their service. Will not return.
Great cuts of steak very tasty. Don't be put off about cooking it yourself it's the only place I can get a steak cooked perfectly. Service can be a bit hit and miss so don't be afraid to stick your hand in the air if you require service.
The food was enjoyable the staff was fairly quick with are service and seemed pleasant enough.
Went last night for sons birthday and food was amazing. Most had steak but being vegetarian I had the veg lasagna, best I've had . Service was great, plenty of drinks available
Lovely place, friendly staff and great food. Its a fun touch, cooking the steak at the table, can cook it exactly how you want it. And on top of this, reasonably priced for the quality. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.
Warm friendly welcome. Nice & clean everywhere. Waiter Service Very good. Party of 5 of us for a birthday celebration. Food delicious cooked to our liking & presented very well..nothing to much trouble. Even took our group photo for us..Will definitely be returning & will certainly be recommending. Also good size car park.
