“Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit here. The food was very tasty and portion size very generous to say the least. We will visit again. My wife had a large glass of white wine which appeared to be a medium size and it was £9.50, this was the only negative thing.”

“Have ordered from this takeaway for the last 7 years and wouldn't risk using anywhere else. The food is consistently good and equal to any good Chinese sit in restuarant. Never had a bad order from them yet. We always order and found delivery time good and if they are busy they are honest and inform you of the expected waiting time . Once we were passing so ordered to pick up and was pleased to see that you could see them preparing the food in the kitchen and all appeared spotlessly clean. I dont usually leave reviews but thought after so many nice weekend meals watching a movie Sunny Garden deserved a few minutes of my time.”

“Although most of the Chinese restaurants on Hull are similar, most of them are northern China taste, this one is more like southeastern Chinese taste, that means less MSG and other chemicals. Ordered Yung Chow Fried Rice and beef with spring onions. It took 10 minutes only to get the food. Meat is seasoned very well, and the fried rice is good with differential ingredients. Employees are nice and friendly, complimentary fortune cookies are so lovely.”

“One of the best chinese restaurants in Hull; the salt and pepper tofu is on another level, the seafood selection is fresh as compared to other chinese restaurants; the rice and noodles are phenomenal and the service is excellent. A legendary place within hull and a must if visiting the area. 10 out of 10 hands down.”

“What can I say about a take away? Good quality, tasty, well cooked food. Large portions too. Polite service from the owners and staff. Not overpriced either. One of two in Willerby, both equally good, but parking is more available here. My first choice if I don't feel like cooking.”

“Been getting Chinese from here for a very long time now and rarely disappointed. Always get the satay skewers, they’re delicious. I have to agree that the curry sauce is a bit too spicy for me these days but perhaps that’s just my taste and not worth knocking a star off. Definitely a go to for great Chinese takeaway”

“Our first Chinese meal since moving to the area a year ago. We ordered prawn curry, chips, special chow mein and bbq spare ribs. The only Chinese open on a Tuesday and we weren't disappointed. Great value for money and fresh, hot dishes. Highly recommend.”

“One of the best Chinese in hull! If you haven’t tried it yet and love a good Chinese then you need to try some food from here, would definitely recommend it. I am half Chinese myself and man this is some good stuff. Not really a authentic Chinese as most Chinese here have all been westernized but the noodles are banging, starters are banging especially the ribs and satay chicken skewers as this owner isn’t a stingy one and use more peanuts like how it is suppose to actually taste. Main meals taste good also not to salty the sauces taste nice. Portion wise is great also haven’t been disappointed so far with the taste or quality of food. I order takeaway or eat out almost everyday and this Chinese has definitely made it to my list of choices. Never had stomach problems after eating from here compared to some other Chinese takeaways in hull. Only downside is sometimes the waiting time is awful which am guessing they can’t really help because they are so busy and the closing days and times sometimes isn’t so great. Other than that the food is literally worth the wait! Guy on the phone is also always friendly and actually listens to what you are wanting to amend to the order or add etc. Friendly staff/owner. Rating 10/10.”

“Been using Ocean for the last 25 years and honestly love the place, the food is always spot on, the lady who serves has been there as long as I can remember & she’s fabulous. Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on. “Food is amazing, the king prawns are to die for! Beautiful white flesh with no grit. No shrimps here. Also main meal dishes include chips or rice, making it very good value. Delivery has improved, was very quick. The lady Is not rude, but speaks very quickly. Go into the shop, she will give you a smile to great you. Very professional and welcoming. Also the chips....... fresh in the shop, wow!”
