“Great food experience from this takeaway. Highly recommend.”
“The food here is absolutely incredible! Definitely my favourite restaurant and i come here alll the time! 10/10. Even the evening services that they do occasionally are 5 star and make for a great date night for me and my boyfriend :)”
“Me and my partner love Oriental food and thought giving here a try would be good. Absolutely blown away by the food, if you're someone who enjoys wagamamas like us then this is on 2 tiers above that. Fresh, extremely flavourful and a solid choice of different dishes. We will definitely being going back again”
“Massive portion sizes, the tubs are crammed full. All of it tastes amazing, especially the satay beef and fried rice!”
“I didn’t expect that in addition to Birmingham and Manchester, there is a place called HULL, which has a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant where you can eat all kinds of Hong Kong tea restaurant food. I was very touched because the owner is from Hong Kong with all family members to run this restaurant. The decoration inside the store is very nice. It's really nice to take a car and visit it when you have time. Finally, where can you eat clay pot rice and egg waffles………..etc.”
“Got a takeaway on a Sunday afternoon and I am not kidding you it was the best Chinease/asian I’ve ever had. Flavours were amazing, everything cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to eat that food again.”
“Staying in Hornsea for a few days, saw menu and reviews on Google said very good - we were very satisfied! Restaurant was very busy and the phone was ringing off the hook, I can see why! Highly recommend!”
“Beautiful little Chinese next to the train station. Ingredients very fresh and tasteful. A little more pricey than others in vicinity but worth it. Staff lovely great vegetarian options and cash only. Grazie :)”
“My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going again when were back at uni!”
“Since I started school here, Red Chilli has been my go-to spot for authentic Nigerian food. I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious. Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. Not only is the food spot on, but the portions are generous, so you always get a satisfying meal for a good price. Red Chilli is more than just a restaurant for me; it’s a piece of home away from home. If you’re looking for an authentic Nigerian dining experience in Hull, this is it – nothing else comes close!”
“Thought it had closed down, so Happy to see it open, Lovely Food and Very Cheap”
“We tried Cheng & Chen for the first time this week. Walked in, ordered and our food was cooked fresh in 15 minutes. Really nice takeaway with a bit of a twist. Much lighter and less greasy than your usual Chinese takeaway!”
“By far the best Chinese takeaway in Hull! We used to order back when they had the takeaway down Wold Road. My mum wouldn't even contemplate ordering from anywhere else when she found out it had changed hands, then a friend told us they were opening a new shop my mum was thrilled! Lovely people, large portion sizes and very well priced!”
“A fabulous place to go if your looking for authentic Chinese hot pot and grill. Good menu range of dishes to choose from. Far different to the usual Chinese take away menu. Really tasty food and good portion sizes. You get plenty for your money. We will definitely be returning and making this one of the top places to eat out. We went during the week so it was quiet but welcoming just the same. Maybe some low playing tranquil or asia music in the background would make the atmosphere even better if possible.”
“Honestly, it's one of the best Chinese I've ever had! Super tasty and authentic food, not too greasy and packed with flavour. Would definitely recommend the 'Chinese tea'. Only issue is that the portions were huge, so bring a good appetite!”
“Small, cozy and comfortable place. The Asian cuisine is so delicious. The staff amaizing”
“Today weather was Georges with blue skies. After my shopping done fancied fish and chips. After reading good reviews decided to try and ordered lightly buttered fish snd chips which made my day . It was lovely golden crispy and melted in mouth. Thanks for the beautiful fish abd chips and making my day.”
“Normally set meals seem to be made up of stuff that doesn't sell to well, here is definitely not like that! The food is outstanding without the overwhelming hit of MSG that goes with some Chinese restaurants. The staff and service at this place are excellent and the food comes out exactly on time. Stanley restaurant is a higher end establishment with an excellent atmosphere. The menu is quite contemporary and the food is very well presented. A person would not be disappointed by a visit here”
“I thought I would try this place today, I’m glad I did, I had the King Prawn Salt and Pepper Dish and it was absolutely delicious. I was very impressed with the portion sizes. The staff were very polite and helpful. Great place to go, I will be returning to try other menu items.”
“After visiting Trinity Market for the live music on Thursday nights and sampling the fabulous food on offer here, we went back for a second visit specifically to sample more of their delicious dishes-we weren’t disappointed! I had the King Prawn Udon Noodles with lovely thick sauce, big juicy prawns, red peppers and green beans. It was just fabulously unctuous! My wife had the Tofu Pad Thai which was equally delicious. The staff are really friendly and service is super quick. My pals all looked on in envy at my lunch, so they’ll just have to join the queue behind me next time!!”
“1st visit had Singapore chow mein curry sauce and prawn crackers. The portion size was very good piping hot and tasty, definitely will go back.”
“The food was to die for very tasty best I’ve had for a long time”
“This is a good Chinese restaurant with really friendly staff and a menu with a good range of options. There are dishes that you would see at most Chinese restaurants as well as some that are less common, which is always nice to see. They are happy to make reasonable changes to dishes for you. Allergens are labeled on the menu and we've eaten here several times with no issues with allergen cross contamination, even when we haven't specifically pointed it out. The building is an old English pub so from the outside you might not realise that it is a Chinese restaurant, making it feel like a bit of a hidden gem to me! I've visited several times now and will definitely be going back!”
“Our first visit was around a year ago now after we watched a livestream on youtube. We have visited almost every week since. Over our many visits I have managed to work my way through the menu and tried pretty much everything on there. I can honestly say there isn't a single thing that I haven't liked. I've even been lucky enough to try specials when available. Everything I have tasted has been delicious. But the dumplings and wontons are just out of this world. We live 2 hours away and make the journey to visit here. I have never been in a takeaway where you can watch the chefs cook and if you can it's a need to see. The stuff they can do is amazing. They're a wok master and queen of the wok for good reason. The family is so friendly and helpful and have even offered us advice for making things at home. If you haven't been you are missing out. I would move to Hull just so I could eat here every night. Highly recommend the Boazi if they're available and the crispy chilli beef is one of my favourite dishes.”
“Best Chinese takeaway in Beverley. Two starters, four mains, one rice - just over £35. Value for money as they aren't on apps etc, and the food is always good with quick delivery.”
“I love their food !! Been on a diet since Jan 1st 2024 .. lost 50 lb and on day 363 - it’s Happy House as my 1st takeaway this year (2024) I would go nowhere else : ) Outstanding !”
“I brought our ice hockey team here, unannounced (twice), and they catered for us swiftly. Everybody enjoyed their food (hence us returning a second time).”
“Food was totally mega! Would definitely recommend. Beautiful food well done”
“Came here for the first time in 6 years. Son loved the Beef curry and orders it every time. Special Fried rice is very special. Singapore noodles lovely and spicy. We have missed this place and will not wait as long to treat ourselves to this little gem of a takeaway again. Hope it never changes”
“Here within 20 minutes, the food was absolutely lovely, fresh and hot! The delivery driver was polite and friendly! No complaints here ☺️”
