“Got a takeaway on a Sunday afternoon and I am not kidding you it was the best Chinease/asian I’ve ever had. Flavours were amazing, everything cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to eat that food again.”

“One of the best Chinese in hull! If you haven’t tried it yet and love a good Chinese then you need to try some food from here, would definitely recommend it. I am half Chinese myself and man this is some good stuff. Not really a authentic Chinese as most Chinese here have all been westernized but the noodles are banging, starters are banging especially the ribs and satay chicken skewers as this owner isn’t a stingy one and use more peanuts like how it is suppose to actually taste. Main meals taste good also not to salty the sauces taste nice. Portion wise is great also haven’t been disappointed so far with the taste or quality of food. I order takeaway or eat out almost everyday and this Chinese has definitely made it to my list of choices. Never had stomach problems after eating from here compared to some other Chinese takeaways in hull. Only downside is sometimes the waiting time is awful which am guessing they can’t really help because they are so busy and the closing days and times sometimes isn’t so great. Other than that the food is literally worth the wait! Guy on the phone is also always friendly and actually listens to what you are wanting to amend to the order or add etc. Friendly staff/owner. Rating 10/10.”

I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious. Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. “A fabulous place to go if your looking for authentic Chinese hot pot and grill. Good menu range of dishes to choose from. Far different to the usual Chinese take away menu. Really tasty food and good portion sizes. You get plenty for your money. We will definitely be returning and making this one of the top places to eat out. We went during the week so it was quiet but welcoming just the same. Maybe some low playing tranquil or asia music in the background would make the atmosphere even better if possible.”

“This is a good Chinese restaurant with really friendly staff and a menu with a good range of options. There are dishes that you would see at most Chinese restaurants as well as some that are less common, which is always nice to see. They are happy to make reasonable changes to dishes for you. Allergens are labeled on the menu and we've eaten here several times with no issues with allergen cross contamination, even when we haven't specifically pointed it out. The building is an old English pub so from the outside you might not realise that it is a Chinese restaurant, making it feel like a bit of a hidden gem to me! I've visited several times now and will definitely be going back!”

“Cracking food. Mixed appetisers followed by Sweet and Sour Chicken Cantonese Style, King Prawns with Bamboo shoots and Water chestnuts, Duck with Plum sauce, Stir fried beansprouts and rice. Far too much food for 2 people - must be Yorkshire portions- should have skipped on the starters. But everything was very tasty and piping hot. The draught beer went down nicely as well. All in all well recommended.”

“Absolutely outstanding!! Best Chinese meal I’ve had in a while. We ordered for delivery and it came super quickly, even on Mother’s Day! We had the honey chilli chicken, which was lovely, sweet and sour, beef in black bean and noodles and rice. Everything came to under £40 and was just brilliant”

“We’ve ordered from this Chinese takeaway a couple of times since it came under new management, and it’s absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious, really fresh and full of flavour, with generous portion sizes and great value for money. The service is just as impressive – the girl on the front is always polite, welcoming and does a brilliant job. Tonight there was also a new member of staff serving, and he was just as friendly with excellent customer service. It’s quickly become our go-to for Chinese food, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!”

Coming from the Indian ocean, I appreciate seafood dishes & this is something I look for in quality and quantity. I ordered from the shop website for the first time. I called to confirm they had my order and to my surprise, it was on the way. I was excited because I'd waited all day for a nice treat. I ordered the mixed starter #2 & if it was for 2 people, that would suffice. But, if you're someone who admires flavour and quality then you'd be a fool to share. The squid was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Exceeded my expectations & perfect for my cheat day. The lady on the phone was so lovely. The delivery driver lady was so kind too. I've been all over hull but this one wins my vote for price, quality and customer service. I'd recommend to order from their website to support this brilliant local business.
