Food and service was absolutely amazing. We had a miscommunication with the order but the owner was so amazing and sorted the issue straight away and even ended my closing 15 minutes later to sort everything out. On top of that the food was lovely. We got the mixed salt and pepper appetiser and it was so amazing. Highly recommend!
wouldn't recommend this Chinese. It's a good job the portion sizes were small because most of it got binned anyway. The "egg fried rice" was as yellow as pilau rice you'd get from an Indian with no egg in it was also like mush! The chicken balls we got tasted like doughnuts with the tiniest bit of chicken in it. The curry sauces etc well didn't taste of anything:( Yes the delivery was early but the food was so poor! For the price I expected excellence. I will not be returning.
After a year of dieting and 50kg down, moving to a new area; I feel lucky to have this Chinese takeaway just down the road from me. I wanted to treat myself & my craving is salt & pepper squid. Coming from the Indian ocean, I appreciate seafood dishes & this is something I look for in quality and quantity. I ordered from the shop website for the first time. I called to confirm they had my order and to my surprise, it was on the way. I was excited because I'd waited all day for a nice treat. I ordered the mixed starter #2 & if it was for 2 people, that would suffice. But, if you're someone who admires flavour and quality then you'd be a fool to share. The squid was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Exceeded my expectations & perfect for my cheat day. The lady on the phone was so lovely. The delivery driver lady was so kind too. I've been all over hull but this one wins my vote for price, quality and customer service. I'd recommend to order from their website to support this brilliant local business. Ordered Friday food was perfect Ordered Saturday night at the whole order was awful. My nana my mum and grandad all had food poisoning and only one toilet in the home as mum was visiting and staying there and she on end of life. Never ever will we use again wants shutting down!!!
Tried for 1st time tonite pretty bland and tasteless I wouldn't order again
Absolutely awful. Ordered a chicken satay and crispy chilli beef. Beef was bland and not nice at all. The satay was so sweet it was inedible. Contact them to rectify to be told it was their recipe and they weren’t prepared to sort the issue. Complete waste of money. Avoid!!!
I was so looking forward to my food. But I found the curry and chips were lovely. But the beef was less to be desired. Big thick chunks of beef very chewy and fatty. Also onions were cut much too thick and large. Put me right off buying from you again but hey lovely tasty curry
Food was very poor. Crispy beef was soggy and extremely chewy. Special house curry was edible apart from cheap spongy chicken. Fried rice wasn't even properly done, looked like boiled rice with scrambled egg mixed in. Very expensive and would never use again.
Gone downhill recently, food is good but last four deliveries have scheduled a long wait of around two hours when the order page says 45 minutes. Ordering and expecting a 45 minutes is fine, the order is confirmed and then the wait becomes 90 minutes which is frustrating and then ........ nothing so we chase up and it becomes a two hour wait.......and still we’re waiting. Once would have been been ok, twice fine, four times is a lost customer which is a shame
