We got the banquet for two and everything was delicious! Great value for money and was delivered piping hot in just over 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend and order again soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best Chinese takeaway in Hull. The food was very tasty, arrived hot and presentable in plastic containers. Curry was so tasty and the chips were freshly fried. Recommend this takeaway. So tasty. Please do not change, the quality of food is outstanding.Also your (lady) driver is very friendly and polite. 5 stars.
Took one hour and half delivery food was awful special chow mein was very dryno sauce on at all curry was watery tasteless will not be using again very expensive aswell
I find it hard to believe how anyone who loves Chinese food could slate this place (maybe because its one of the only authentic Chinese take away left in Hull) I have been using Oriental Star regularly for years and never had one problem, food is authentic and always fresh, delivery is always prompt, best in Hull IMO
Rang up at 5 explaining my wife's a diabetic and asked how long it'll take ,,, it arrived 1 1/2 hrs latter ,rang numerous times and said on the way ,food arrived cold and stewed owner wasn't bothered about complaint!!+++ avoid this take away at all costs
horrible food, do not use these EVER biggest waste of money have ever spent. all can taste was salt , chicken was horrible , prawn crackers were off. just horrible food.
Inedible. If I hadn't been in hospital for 12 hours with a family member I'd have driven back and asked for a refund. Honestly one of the worst take aways I've had

Totally astounded, ordered a takeaway for my husbands birthday tonight food came fairly fast, my main meal missing, spoke to delivery driver but unfortunately did not speak English, rang the shop said will send it, asked what I do with the food as will be cold said nothing they could do. Was told that there was no other option but to just wait. 25 mins later my main arrived. The rest if the food now cold! Then demanded the money for the main, paid it as I did not want to cause anymore stress for my husbands birthday. Crazy that they messed up, but had the cheek to ask for the money. It's usually hit and miss anyway but we order because its usually quick. Unfortunately we need a new place to order from now.
