“Wow just wow, from start to finish.. Came here with my mum for a bite to eat, we got more than a bite to eat. I took my food home with me as I had that much on my plate, absolutely amazing. The young lad behind the bar, really friendly, made us feel soo welcome, very polite, smiley, cheerful, the beer garden is lovely and cosy, I highly recommend this place and we will continue coming with our family as our local now.. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!”

“Decided to treat ourselves to the wagyu sharing platter and it was INCREDIBLE! Never had a meal like it and I’ve eaten at steak restaurants in many countries. Staff are warm and welcoming. Love the atmosphere and decor inside. Also great that it was nice and cool inside on a hot sunny day.”

“I took my partner here for his birthday meal and we both really loved it! I'm a vegetarian and I was recommended the Salmon by our host Jordan. The salmon was absolutely delicious and a really good portion size! The other vegetarian options all looked good with a suprising amount of options which I was pleasantly surprised with. My partner is very much a meat eater (which is why I chose this restaurant for him) and he had a great time! He tried all the meats and his favourite was the garlic salt sirloin steak. He also really enjoyed the honey pork and the lamb. I'm also a big fan of salad bars and we both agreed that this was the best salad bar we've had at a restaurant! Lots of really nice fresh produce that you can tell hadn't been sat there for ages. We were served by Jordan, Ilona and Pusak, all were equally friendly and attentive. It was my partners birthday as I mentioned and they also brought out a cocktail on the house with a candle in it as a suprise which we both thought was very kind. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It's all you can eat which can sometimes be expensive but you 100% got your moneys worth here. We'll definitely be recommending it to others and we'll be coming back next time we're in Beverley! *we didn't take any photos because we were too busy enjoying the food!!*”

“There were 6 of us who dined in the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening in December. We had a very sociable round table and the staff were, friendly, efficient and relaxed. The food was hot and very tasty. A perfect fun dining experience.”

“My family and I have been going to Figaro since it opened and even when it was La Scala back in the day. You really cannot fault the staff or food they are fantastic. There are some foods I have never tasted better anywhere else, their steaks, prawns, tomato garlic breads and since last night, their tiramisu. Their pornstar martinis and liquor coffees are also top tier!! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! Booking in again in a few days time for my Birthday, because they’re just too good! :)”

“Thai Palace left an absolutely fantastic impression on us. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who made us feel truly welcome. The service was exceptional—efficient, friendly, and impressively quick. We were seated and served our drinks within a minute of arriving. The set lunch menu offers incredible value, with a starter and main course priced just under £15. Our food arrived remarkably fast, served piping hot and prepared with fresh ingredients. We waited less than 10 minutes for our starter, and our main followed shortly after. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing great attention to detail. Though we typically opt for Chinese cuisine, this experience has completely won us over. The menu is extensive, and we are already planning our next visit to explore more dishes. The restaurant itself is stunning, featuring beautiful artwork, stylish tables, and elegant panelled walls. One standout detail was the impeccable cleanliness—it's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining the space. Without a doubt, Thai Palace has become our new favourite restaurant. “Been to central 42 many times. Staff are always friendly. My wife is celiac and they have lots of gluten choices for her. The staff are usually very well informed about cross contamination. Loads of choices of delicious food. Good idea to book if its a Saturday or Sunday. But walked in and got a table lots of times aswell. Definitely recommend a visit”

“We had a beautiful meal at the Millhouse on Wednesday, the food was beautifully presented which was Salmon Omelette with a salad and chips. It wasn’t only the presentation of the food that was lovely, the staff were brilliant too. My friend and I had two assistant dogs, one in training. Normally , when we go out for a meal together we are placed near a cold door or somewhere inconvenient to us as a customer. However, this wasn’t the case at the Millhouse. We were shown to a table by the window and the staff could not have been more helpful. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back.”

“Amazing food, drink and atmosphere. It was great to sit at the bar and watch what the head chef could produce from such a small space! Everything that came out looked amazing and our charcuterie and cheese board (there were hot meals on the menu, but we didn’t have time) was unbelievable and everything was of the highest quality. “Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”

“Cracking food. Mixed appetisers followed by Sweet and Sour Chicken Cantonese Style, King Prawns with Bamboo shoots and Water chestnuts, Duck with Plum sauce, Stir fried beansprouts and rice. Far too much food for 2 people - must be Yorkshire portions- should have skipped on the starters. But everything was very tasty and piping hot. The draught beer went down nicely as well. All in all well recommended.”

“This is a well run pubic house with plenty of TVs to watch sport on. The staff are very friendly and the tables are always very clean. The chef needs a pat on the back as the food is always tasty and hot. A positive experience on every visit. Only thing that lets it down is the selection of draught ciders.”
